Who Will be 2nd Half of the FF Season Hero? (1 Viewer)

Who do you think will be the guy who lights up the 2nd half of the season and wins their FF owners a title?

Any of these guys?

  1. RGIII
  2. Helu
  3. Andre Brown
  4. Boykin
  5. Ivory
  6. TY Hilton
  7. Harvin
If not, why? And who do you think is missing from the list? Are there any guys you think that might still emerge in the time left, like CJ Anderson?

what about gronk....??? Rg3 and Gronk for me as I own both and im looking for Breakouts for both guys.
I really thought about putting Gronk on there because he hasn't played until last week. But I figured he kinda went without saying since he's, well, Gronk. Good point though.

Jake Locker / CJ2k

Vereen

Keenan Allen

CJ Anderson

RGIII / Pierre Garcon / J Reed

Super Cam

Russell Wilson / Harvin

Terrelle Pryor

Jarrett Boykin

TY Hilton

I think all these guys are primed to make some major noise down the stretch.

Who is missing:Shane Vereen

Colby Fleener. Especially if he is on the WW (is in my league, I plan to grab me after lucks bye) and if you had Finley Fleener would be a good fill in. I think Fleener benefits to most from Wayne's injury

Lacy: all the talk in town is how GB is going to start running the ball more. Lacy is gold the rest of the year

Why not:

Boykin: James Jones is going to be back, and Boykin will be wr3. Granted, Cobb is out but I don't think Boykin has the same threat as Cobb such as out of the backfield and so forth. He's again great flex option, but don't expect Cobb numbers, so I don't think he'll be a "hero"

Helu: Helu holds value only if the redskins are in their hurry up. He's a very high risk play

Ivory: injury risk. Powell isn't just going to go away

Hilton is a deep threat. That's about it. See above for Fleener

Not knocking you , dude, but this is just a list of good players that are under-performing (or valued). Let's try an identify a couple that stand out.

Taking a shot in the dark here but I have a strong feeling B. Bostick is going to break out taking over for Finley.

Griffin clearly belongs on the list. But he needs someone to throw to... Garcon and Reed might deserve at least secondary mention here.

For those that have been holding on to chris johnson, the payoff is going to be amazing. The defenses before the bye were brutal, lockerwas hurt, they werent ppassing to him. All 3 of those are going to change plus they shuffled the line a bit which should be better going forward.

Will the real CJ2K please stand up?

That is my point, I am just trying to make a list of guys you can buy cheaply or even pick up off the waiver wire and they can be last years Moreno and Danario Alexander. I am hoping people add to the list or give reasons why these guys won't turn it around.

QB:

#1 - Wilson (Harvin is back)

#2 - RG3 (.... He's Back...)

#3 - Rogers (because he was picked so high)

RB:

#1 - Forte (They need to lean on him for any hope of the playoffs)

#2 - Lynch (Easy run schedule and having a great year so far)

#3 - Lacy (mid round pickup)

WR:

#1 - Harvin (WW pickup likely in redraft)

#2 - Calvin (Stafford has to feed this man for the Lions to push into the playoffs)

#3 - Nelson (Some cake games and Rodger can't avoid throwing it to the best WR on the field)

TE:

#1 - Gronk (no one else is close if Graham has any lingering issues)

Vereen

CJ

CJ

CJ

(Spiller, Anderson, and Chris "CJ2K" Johnson) could all lead a team to a championship in the late part of the season.

Will go a bit contrarian here, and I'm frankly surprised no one has mentioned him.

I have a feeling that Stevan Ridley reverts to his mean. He's been coming on the last two weeks (despite getting the Jets last week), Gronkowski is back to open up the offense, and the colder New England weather is coming.

Not sure that Ridley finishes with the year he had last season, but Ridley could be strong down the stretch.

Caveat to all this, I admit, is whether Shane Vareen comes roaring back. But I'm not so sure he comes back instantly.

I don't know. You're really going out on a limb here.

Rivers could certainly be a guy.

Been playing well with a suspect "new" line and a host of receivers hurt or "new".

(the line and receiving corps hopefully gel even further as we go)

Certainly wasn't anyone's high draft pick which let them draft other good players.

He could be a guy that helps carry a team to the end....

I think Helu appears to be a risky play...but I think he might be this year's spiller.

I just traded for him in my main league. I gave up Ellington...I like Ellington but I hate his team. If Helu and the skins pick up their game in the 2nd half we'll see a great combination of running threats between Al Mo, RG3, and Helu.

yah i picked reed off waivers and promptly traded witten for cj2k.

I am pretty close to going all in on Terrance Williams. He has taken control of the job. He has Romo's confidence. Their schedule is excellent. He could be a waiver wire darling that leads teams to a championship - in FF, not real life.
