1st round RBs with the current job. 2nd and 3rd round guys drafted this year.

There's been some discussion on what will likely happen this year. What about beyond? Curious to see which guys you think will keep the job and which will lose it?

I think Felix Jones will have a breakout year and keep the job for the foreseeable future - and will admit I don't think much of Murray anyway. I think Murray is a very pedestrian back, so if Jones falters my choice would be "other".

I think Detroit will be about a 60/40 split in favor of Best for this year and the following with Best able to shine in a situation like that.

Arizona is the one spot where I think the rookie has a chance to take the job and run with it. I was a big fan of Beanie coming out of Ohio State, but his inability to outshine a very mediocre Tim Hightower has left me thinking maybe he just doesn't have what it takes. Williams was my second favorite back pre-NFL draft so if he lives up to my expectations then the opprotunity should be there. With that said I wouldn't be shocked if Beanie "wakes up" and turns into a solid NFL back.

1. I'm surprised so many are voting for "someone else" in Dallas.

2. I'm surprised that many people still believe in Beanie

3. I'm SHOCKED that many think it's going to be Leshoure.

I question why Beanie is being given up on this quickly. He had a good rookie season, followed up by an injured 2010 where he had knee troubles (I think?). Same could have been said about McFadden just last year. I'm not saying that guarantees Beanie's value will skyrocket like McFadden's has, but why rip up that lottery ticket just yet? Beanie has flashed some damn impressive runs, and he's only 22/23. I'd still be buying since his value is so low.

I also think he's a buy low right now. The only problem I have with Wells, and it goes back to his OSU days, is that he doesn't seem to know the difference in playing with pain and injury. The guy simply cannot tolerate pain. It's not that he missed a lot of games in college, but he was always hobbling off the field for something and was always nicked up. Now he's having injury issues in the Pros.

He's like a young Fred Taylor in that regard. Taylor missed time in his early years and later admitted he should have gutted out some of those minor injuries and been on the field.

Everyone that's seen Leshoure know's he's legit. He's a big body. Most that think Leshoure are figuring Best might be a little fragile. If Leshoure is as durable as he looks he'll be getting a lot of carries. In my opinion we're looking at a true RBBC in Det. for the next couple of years.

I agree here. This year is make or break for him.

Wish Fred was the Cowboys RB back then, instead of Emmitt-****ing- 170yds with a separated shoulder-Smith  (though Fred wasn't in the league for that specific game)http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-top-ten/09000d5d810a63f5/Top-Ten-Gutsiest-Performances-Emmitt-Smith

IMO I personally think Leshoure is the most complete every down back, of the 6 players listed... Only time will tell...

as a cowboy fan who watches very game, I can tell you Jones is not a very down back. I think Murray has good chance of being the starter at some point in 2011 and the future

I can tell you based on recent history that Murray has a terrible chance of being the starter in 2011. Beyond 2011 is a different story as then it'll be much more possible (even though I think it'll still be Felix)
