Does anyone see Gonzo coming close to the Stokley's numbers of a couple of years ago('04)?

68-1077-10

maybe with less TDS

I don't because defenses don't play the Colts the same was that they did in 2004. They'd rather have the Colts beat them by 12 play scoring drives rather than 3 play scoring drives.

I believe, correct me if im wrong, but doesn't NE now have Wes Welker in the slot? He showed moxy and speed in the trainwreck known as the Miami offense last year. I think you have to put him in the list of possibles.

:lmao: I can see Welker scoring big for NE in a PPR league.

I like several #3s to do well this year.

Demetrius Williams, BAL - could be #2 by end of the year.

Patrick Crayton, DAL - TO and Glenn are old and could falter or get hurt.

Bryant Johnson, AZ - Fitz and Boldin don't always play 16, and he's got pretty good skills.

Bobby Engram, SEA - After Branch and Hackett, Hass really likes Engram.

Drew Carter, CAR - Nice deep speed and could pass rookie Jarrett for #2 if he struggles.

Nate Washington / Cedrick Wilson, PIT - After Ward and Santonio Holmes, the Steelers were the only team to have 4 WRs with 500+ yards last year, and Big Ben struggled. Add in that they are going to throw more, I like both actually.

Travis Wilson, CLE - Dark horse - totally. But, Joe Jurevicius isn't always healthy, and Braylon Edwards will get lots of looks. CLE will have to throw a lot, so if Wilson is #3 I like his production and a late flier pick.

Brandon Stokely, DEN - I don't think we'll see much Rod Smith this year, if at all. Stokely's not too old (just had health problems) so he could produce. I am not so sure, though, DEN throws enough.

Plus, even if Moss and Stallworth get hurt, I think Welker will do no worse than remain the slot (3rd) WR and possibly even slide into a startig position in the event of an injury to either starter. With Moss and Stallworth's speed, Welker, Watson and Kevin Faulk should have a lot of space underneath and Brady loves spreading it around.

Was he the Cats Pajamas too? Break it to me straight kiddo, and don't spare the sauce.moxy -- that word doesn't get used nearly enough. Good lingo.

I like Welker BUT I think with Moss and Stallworth, Watson and the propensity of NE to spread the ball around - I don't think he'll do a ton this year.

:o What about Caldwell?? He's had a year in NE's offense..where does Reche fit into this offense now? last year he came in green and put up 5 TD's and neary 1000yds..
