Who will be top ten? RBs (1 Viewer)

We all know that between 4 and 6 of last year's top 10 performers will not repeat the next year. I've also seen studies that suggest that half of the top 10 consensus players will not be there at the end of the year. Here are last years top 10 RBs (PPR scoring, FBG rank in parentheses) and consensus top 10 RBs by ADP. Who won't be here at the end of 2007 and who will replace them? Its also been a truism in the past that at least one of the three consensus top 3 won't be there at the end either. You'll only need 4 off last years list since we'll give you Tiki Barber won't repeat.

Last season:

1. Tomlinson (1)

2. Jackson (3)

3. Johnson (2)

4. Westbrook (6)

5. Gore (4)

6. Parker (5)

7. Barber (7)

8. Jones-Drew (8)

9. Bush (NA)

10. R. Johnson (9)

12. McAllister (10)

ADP Consensus:

1. Tomlinson

2. Jackson

3. Johnson

4. Gore

5. Alexander

6. Addai

7. Westbrook

8. Parker

9. R. Johnson

10. R. Bush

My own selections:

Won't repeat: Johnson, Parker, Jones-Drew, RJohnson (as well as Barber)

Consensus: Johnson, Alexander, Parker, Johnson

To replace: Addai, Henry, Maroney, Benson, Betts

To replace: Addai, Henry, Maroney, Benson, Betts
More information please
No information, just a hunch. Every year someone makes the the top 10 who most people dont expect. But in the retrospectoscope, seemed like it was a good possibility at the time. Last year the obvious one was Gore. So looking around the league this year, I saw three situations where a RB could explode "unexpectedly": Jacksonville - Taylor (not MJD who needs a Taylor injury), Minnesota - Peterson (I also consider Jamal in Cleveland, but even if he does explode it wont be top 10 unless he catches more passes) and Washington - Betts looked great when he played. Nothin more than a hunch that Portis will not be the guy.

Of the 4 players that fell out of the top 10, 2 of them missed 6 games each, and the other 2 missed 3 games each (if you count Willis getting only 4 carries in week 9 vs GB).
