Early apology if this is a honda but I searched for something similiar.

How would you rank the following depending upon situation:

D Ryans: 4-3 Houston

D Jackson: 3-4 ILB Clev

R McIntosh: 4-3 WLB Washington

B Carpenter: 3-4 OLB Dallas

M Lawson: 3-4 OLB SF

K Wimbley: 3-4 OLB Clev

T Howard: 4-3 WLB Oak

A Hodge: 4-3 ILB GB

Who should be an immediate starter and who will produce the most in FF IDP?

Again sorry if this is a Dup.

Immediately? Probably D'Quell Jackson if he beats out Chaun Thompson inside ... if not, then Lawson, who is the only guaranteed full time starter ...

Situtaion is everything at this point.I like McIntosh even though the Skins rarely start rookies. Then Jackson then Ryans but it's all speculation at this point.

Ask Grits and he would tell you start the players that score the most points.

My mostly-uninformed opinions:

D Ryans: 4-3 Houston Starter, 3-down

D Jackson: 3-4 ILB Clev Starter, 2-down

R McIntosh: 4-3 WLB Washington Starter, 3-down

B Carpenter: 3-4 OLB Dallas Starter, 3-down

M Lawson: 3-4 OLB SF Starter, 3-down

K Wimbley: 3-4 OLB Clev Starter, 3-down

T Howard: 4-3 WLB Oak SLB Starter, 2-down

A Hodge: 4-3 ILB GB MLB or SLB, 2-down

I'd rank them:

Ryans

McIntosh

Jackson

Carpenter (if he gets to be MLB, he moves up to 2nd probably)

Hodge

Howard

Wimbley

Lawson

I think Ryans is going to be up with Greenway/Sims.

I think D'Qwell Jackson is a lock to win that job, and I even think he'll be the best fantasy option of the entire defensive class.

He should be able to rack up ALOT of tackles playing next to Andra Davis in a Crennel defense, wouldn't even surprise me if he led the team in tackles at the end of the season. Maybe I'm slightly biased since I drafted him 15th overall in my dynasty league, but none the less I expect big things of him

I agree with Ryans. There's big doubts about McIntosh in my mind and for this year though. I'd put him at #3 and topping a tier beneath the first two. Then if Hodge is starting (assuming they both do, which is a big assumption) then I would put Hodge above McIntosh. I like Carpenter on the bottom of the list below Wimbley and Lawson. I agree Wimbley should be ranked above Lawson. There's a reason he was drafted higher at the same position by Savage and Crennel, who know that position well. Lawson is more DE than LB and has a longer learning curve. :2cents:

I like Ryans and drafted him in several leagues, but do you really think he is a lock to start this year? The only LB on this list that I really think is a "lock" to start all of 2006 is Lawson ...
