Giants claim the division over the Eagles on a tie-breaker

Both teams win 11 games the Giants go 5-1 in division, Eagles go 4-2

If I'm laying odds, this is a three-team race between the Giants, Eagles and Cowboys with the Redskins having an outside shot.

No order of finish would shock me (as usual).

this is supertough to call --- don't know the winner, but I could see dallas finishing last.

and I will lol.

Still the best division in football, with every team a legit playoff team in any other division. In this division though, I think the skins are in big trouble, and Dallas may have trouble eeking out enough wins for a playoff berth. B/N Philly and the Giants, I went Philly, but neither would surprise me.

The 'Skins are "in trouble"? They went 8-8 with a rookie head coach and an undermanned and injured offense. Their defense figures to be better and, most importantly, able to generate pressure and impact games now. Their biggest enemy is (as with everyone else) injuries IMHO, as I expect that offense to improve. It's a stout division to be sure, and I already said that if you're laying odds you pick the 'Skins last, but "in trouble" isn't what I'd say about them or any other team in that division. It's going to be the usual dog fight.

Eagles 11-5 maybe 12-4- Love what the Eagles did in the draft. Eagles should be a little worried about that defense. (as a Cowboys fan...really worried about the offense)

Cowboys 11-5 maybe 10-6 Not going to comment on this, I am a homer. I think this team is going to make a solid run. Healthy Felix, Barber and Romo and no TO will make this offense top 5, even with ROY as the #1.

Giants 10-6 They could easily be 7-9 or 12-4. I think the Giants are boom or bust.

Redskins 8-8 maybe 7-9 Not sold on coach or QB. Defense is going to be 100% dominant against the run. I think teams will be able to pass on them and will be able to hit some big plays.

I think it will be hard to win a road game in this division.

Just curious, I don't follow Dallas all that much. They went 9-7 last year. What area's have they improved in to make the leap from 9 wins to 11 wins? Is having Tony Romo healthy for all 16 enough? When I look at the offseason of the other teams in the NFC East, I see the Giants, Eagles and Redskins all obtaining talent. And I see the Cowboys getting rid of theirs. Plus, year 3 of the Wade Phillips tenure is usually the "wheels come off" year. When I look at Dallas, I see a team in transistion, not contention.
