Curious as to why all the love for the Pack. Complete defensive switch, and had o-line issues and weren't that good last year. Weren't as bad as their record, but still, I see Chi or Min as the favorites here, Pack needs another year.
The Black and Blue division got a lot more competitive this offseason.
It is actualy the Vikings who are the only team without a potential game breaking QB. Green Bay has Rodgers, Chicago Cutler and Stafford in Detroit now. All the Vikings have there is Sage and TJ. Doh.
I still like the Vikings to win the division because they have the best defense. Now the Vikings are going to get thrown on even more however with the new QBs.
I think there will be a lot more wins coming from these teams in 2009 than they had in 2008 and possibly the North sends 2 teams to the playoffs. Injuries will likely be the deciding factor in the end for who wins the division as ushual.

Sometimes I think I'm the only person on the planet who likes Rosenfels. HUGE fan, even fantasy-wise.Teams will always have AD as priority #1. Sage has weapons in the passing game with Harvin and Berrian. Like his situation a lot!
This is probably the closest division. I'll go with the Bears, but it wouldn't surprise me to see three 8-8 teams here. Heck, maybe even Detroit can improve?

I think it takes at least a year for the GB defense to come around, if they do at all.
Minny has the best offense and defense, but Williams^2 out for 4 games and a weakness in the passing game and against it leaves them vulnerable to Cutler and the Bears. I like Sage much more than Stafford, and the Lions' D is still too weak to respect.
I like Cutler and the Bears passing game much more than the Vikes squad.
In all, they beat each other a lot. Without going through each teams schedule, I'll throw a name in the hat for the raffle later. Chicago.
Should be a battle between the Bears and Vikes. If the Vikes get any kind of decent QB play out of either Jackson or Rosenfels, then they should win the division, but it will be close.
FWIW, I'm a Bears homer and if the Bears don't get their defense fixed, then they won't be contending with the Vikes.
I think the Bears could improve two games this year. I have a very good feeling that the Vikings will improve two games this season, too.Vikings win the division, but only after they defeat Chicago, in Chicago, week 16. Cutler will be exposed without elite WR options, however they will still be better served this year given the easier NFCN schedule.

Sage has never had the opportunity to be the man... in Minnesota, he does, and I think he will be the starter. He gets a lot of flack for his mistake prone games, but he hasn't been in a situation like he has in Minnesota... I really think it's a great place for him. He'll be more comfortable than he has been before, he's got the best running game he's ever had to work with, and the defense is light years ahead of what he was dealing with in Texas the last few years. He is in a tremendous position to shock as a guy who steps up from "lifetime journeyman backup" to legitimate starter. And now give him Harvin on the offense too? Come on...

True (and I of all people should be familiar with quick turnarounds and rookie impacts), but it seems to me that D could just as easily take a step back for a half year before moving forward.Voted Chicago, could easily see Vikes taking it.
