Whom do you use to aid in selecting your lineup? (1 Viewer)

I've historically used the FootballGuys customized cheatsheet, but this year the projections have been God awful. I happened to check some other sites this evening, and was surprised to find- of all people and places- Eric Karabell with a very nice job with his rankings this week.

Just looking for some thoughts on who might be hot this year with projections/rankings. I can't afford another loss this year due to the big scoring days happening on my bench.

Thanks,

I've always relied on FBG's if I had a tough decision. But you're right, this year they have been abysmal. This year I have been checking out Karabell for at least a second opinion. Matthew Berry, surprisingly, has had some good calls this year.

I have found their projections for the most part pretty good for my team and my opponents each week with the lineup dominator.

The catch is if you don't like a pick, don't go with it, go with your gut or your own research but in general it's good.

This week they did tell me start Kevin Walter over Dwayne Bowe but it also to told me to start Hightower and Rice instead of S-Jax.

NFL.com stats, look at the defense the player in question is going agianst, and look at how the player has done so far. Looks/touches are a real good way to see what kind of action to expect, then look at opposing defense to see what to expect out of X number of touches. Also, I read alot in the shark pool, its hit or miss, but alot of good information. Projections are always going to be tough, this week i'm sure FBG had Desean Jackson way over Maclin, which no one can blame them. However, a post in the shark pool brought up Maclin, I watched some tape on youtube.com of him (if you can really call that tape) and desided to give Maclin the nod over Leon Washington vs Miami. So, I guess what i'm really trying to say is, do your homework, look at the matchups, and then if your still having trouble look to projections made by FBG, Yahoo, or whoever you decide makes the best projections.
