Who's more fragile - Kevin Jones or Brandon Jacobs? (1 Viewer)

Doing some research on these two backs...and I'm seeing that most posters have doubts whether either is tough enough to last the season. Jacobs is a big back on a good running team...but gets nicked up a lot. K. Jones is coming back from major foot surgery.

Are either of these guys capable of handling the full load at RB for their teams??

Thoughts??

Jones had a whole pile fall fall his foot while it was sideways om the ground last year. That is not fragile.Fragile is week in week out on the injury report with minor nicks and bruises and pulls..like Steve McNair and Tood Heap.

What about the plethora of other injuries KJ has had over the years?

I think KJ fits here as well. Ever since he's been in the league, the dude has a verifiable history of getting nicked up & leaving games early & always showing on the injury report with one ailment or another.I'm with duaneok66. It's a wash between these two.

Since I own both this year and had both last year, I'd vote KJ.

But I also own Maroney. So I'll just add Maroney and easily say he ranks #1 as most fragile this year...IMO.

Brenda, by a mile. Her antics everytime she gets tackled are pretty comical. The overdramatic rolling on the gound, struggling to get up like she's been shot in a cheesy western, and then crawling off the field while waiving in a replacement are absolutely hilarious.

Granted, Ms. Jacobs doesn't get a whole lot of carries when she suits up, but the first few she gets when she does play make for some excellent comedy.

Jacobs flops around on the turf like a big fish out of water almost everytime he is tackled.

I was one of the guys that fell into the "Jacobs is a beast" hole. I'm shocked at what a baby this guy really is. I can't get the imagine out of my head of him getting hit on the first play last week and waving to come out of the game. I'm like - WTF - this is football - people hit each other.

what how is KJ fragile? He has had this one big injury that is it
 1st year in the league - was only able to play in 15 games2nd year in the league - was only able to play in 13 games3rd year in the league - was only able to play in 12 games4th year in the league - missed 3 games to dateThen you add in all the games where he's had to leave in the middle due to getting dinged up & the dude is a poster child for the fragile label.

Now that we've decided who is more fragile, I was wondering who is stronger.... Superman or Flash Gordon???? (Little Rascals reference)

That some funny stuff,G-Men fan and a Jacobs owner.

Jones is like that ex-girlfriend we've all had that ####s like a rockstar, even though you know she'll cheat on you.

You know what you're getting with him. He's got the injury history, but we all know how he plays when healthy. This year I'll take Jones, and enjoy it while it lasts (hopefully all season). I'm not loving Jacobs right now. If we can see him finish 2-3 games without leaving due to injury, I'd bump him up considerably.
