I'm not sure about him getting 20-23 carries since he hasn't gotten more than 22 all season and currently average about 17, but this would indicate full workload.

I was wondering what the consensus is among the Jacobs owners. Are you benching him, starting him over other choices, or starting him because you don't have any other options.

The guy is a stud. Ill start him and hope for the best. He hasnt needed a ton of carries in the past to put up great #s

I have him in two leagues.

In one I am benching him for Slaton. In the other I am starting him over Dunn, Norwood and Sammy Morris.

I'm rolling with him.....I also have Ward, Reggie Bush and S. Jackson and have to pick two. I have been seriously considering playing Jacobs and Ward.

Jacobs for sure if he is getting near a full workload, but how much does Ward get? Regular amount? How about Wash Def and the rumors of them having to play a nickle all day? I see Fletcher is playing now, but he can't be 100%.

Then there's the weather.

Think Clayton's assumption was based on weather & possible lack of Ahmad Bradshaw. Add in Wash injuries on D and I am going Jacobs over Portis (and still ticked I went Gage over Ward at flex). Jacobs would seem a much better 'mudder' than Portis.

Exactly. Why is Clayton saying a guy returning from injury will be used more than he has all year especially when they have a real good backup? I figure just ignore Clayton's #s he threw out there and just consider it a start.I figure the team that expends too much energy trying to stop the run loses. Each will run fairly well as they always do. To stack 8 in the box will just get them burnt in the passing game.
