who's still holding on to lendale white?! (1 Viewer)

we all know chris johnson is the playmaker, but lendale still put up great numbers last year mainly because of his GL vulturing. now that tenn suc)ks and is not looking to improve, and the fact that lendale is not getting touches or GL opportunities, is he worth rostering?

I have CJ and another team dropped Lendale earlier in the week. I scooped him up as a handcuff but now I'm dropping him for Beanie Wells (who was also dropped). We have very tight benches so I don't have the luxury of carrying both. Now that I think about it I'm not sure Lendale is indeed CJ's handcuff - perhaps Ringer is. With that in question, I'd rather have the higher upside plyayer in Beanie. This is re-draft, BTW.

He still has value if CJ goes down. I think LenDale is a viable RB2 with all the work. If you have space to hold him, he has good upside if injury occurs. People are holding RBs with much less upside than LenDale has.

Obviously the secondary/defensive woes have pretty much destroyed his value but I'm still holding because of how he

has looked in limited action. All signs point to the Titans not bringing him back next year so I'm assuming he still holds

some dynasty value. If he can keep the weight off I would like to see him get a #1 role somewhere and see what he

can really do.

Not me. Cut him for another almost worthless option, Chaz Schilens. At least there is SOME potential for Chaz to fill in and be useful other than after an unanticipated injury. I don't see that for Lendale.

I highly doubt a team will give him a chance to be a number 1, theres not enough jobs to go around and Im pretty sure either Tomlinson or Sproles will be starting for someone else next year.

C'mon guys,just a little wishful thinking.

I could see the following teams looking for a RB next year:Cleveland, Kansas City, Seattle, Green Bay, Washington, New England.

He will certainly get a "shot" to start somewhere, if he has a good agent/wants to go to a team without a solidified starter at RB. This isn't really going out on a limb...the question is can he win a starting job.

He's worth holding on to in dynasty formats for that reason, if he fails to win the job in SEA/CLE/wherever, then you can cut him.

I don't know. He was given a shot with the Titans and they spent two years trying to replace him. When he was the starter he was a below average back and the most value he's had is playing 2nd fiddle to CJ when CJ was marching the ball down the field and White would get the goal line plunges. I think White, Maroney, McGahee, Parker, C. Taylor, Sproles among others will be FAs. Is he better than those guys? He might be worth hanging onto if you have the room but he's shown me nothing to indicate that a team should give him the starting job and expect him to carry the load.
