Footballguy
this is my first year of ffb and i'm finding myself really enjoying doing the research and reading about other peoples' opinions on players. i've recently read some very interesting threads here in the sharkpool about runningbacks, specifically on d.will, m.turner, f.gore, r.rice, and r.brown. in all the threads, it's seems the consensus #1 and #2 rb's are split relatively even between mjd and adp. all the other rb's are mentioned in one thread or another; the trend is, the featured back [in that particular] thread is usually highly touted as the #3.

i know i may be splitting hairs here, who wouldn't be happy with any of the listed backs above? but i think as owners, we all have a #1, #2, #3...etc. i would really like to know whom the rest of footballguys society believes is #3. i understand that there are a lot of factors that could change your vote one way or another (ie: dynasty vs. redraft, ppr vs. non-ppr, and such), so i say vote and explain if you would like to.

Haven't looked at all of their schedule's but Johnson's got some easy matchups left. He faces 4 of the 10 worst run D's in the NFL (SD, BUF, STL, HOU) Buffalo has been particularly bad and Johnson's got a good chance to put up another 200+ yard effort. If he goes over 200+ vs them, I would say he will get 2000 yards this year.

DeAngelo Williams has really been turning it on lately. It's like deja vu all over again from last year.

I just traded for Turner last Friday, so I'm really hoping his last two weeks are a sign of things to come.

I decided to hold onto him so I am right there with you.

Add another vote for Ray Rice at #3 for the second half of the season in PPR...perhaps even Top 2.

And I'm surprised about the down feelings on ADP. I would honestly still take him ahead of MJD or CJ for the remaining games. MUCH greater faith in the consistency of the Vikings offense going forward (I think ADP is the least likely of the three to post a shockingly low-scoring game...I believe both MJD and CJ have potential to post a couple lousy scores before the year is out...and I don't want one of those to happen in the FF playoffs).

I would put Peterson and Jones-Drew ahead of C. Johnson ONLY because they are bit more consistent from week to week. That's about it.

Johnson, however, is the type of player who can win you your week all on his own. Explosive is a understatement.
