Tell that to Alex Smith 2012. The Bengals are winning in spite of Dalton, not because of him. Not to say he's a sure goner, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were considering sitting him down.Dalton isn't getting benched, the team is 3 - 2 and can easily win the AFC North.
Is Josh Johnson equal to Colin Keapernick though?Tell that to Alex Smith 2012. The Bengals are winning in spite of Dalton, not because of him. Do they have a backup like Kaep?Tell that to Alex Smith 2012. The Bengals are winning in spite of Dalton, not because of him. The 49ers benched Smith because the backup was actually better.Think about that for a moment before you make your next post.Tell that to Alex Smith 2012. That was because of an injury, are you predicting Dalton to get injured? Is Josh Johnson equal to Colin Keapernick though?Tell that to Alex Smith 2012. No one ever wants to give Foles full credit. Last week he scored in relief with 5 throws and it was the same story. The guy has only had one bad game statistically in his career, and that was his first start.Vick could be because of his injury and Foles played well today, but lets not forget that it was against the Giants
Really? last week when they were down 52 to 13 is when he led that amazing scoring drive. No one ever wants to give Foles full credit. He doesn't have to be. He just has to be better than Dalton. Is Josh Johnson equal to Colin Keapernick though?Tell that to Alex Smith 2012. I know. Some of the Den defenders went on record that they were pissed he scored that TD, but that's not my point. He's been playing well since he shook off the rookie jitters last season. He can deliver the ball accurately in the NFL. He just needs playing time. I guess it's just a peeve. Everytime he plays well it's always a if/and/but attached to it.Really? last week when they were down 52 to 13 when he led that amazing scoring drive. No one ever wants to give Foles full credit. I am not saying he won't be a good quarterback but his best games have come against Tampa Bay last year, they ranked dead last against the pass. A half against the Giants this year which rank 22nd against the pass, and a drive when his team was down 39 late in the 4th.I know. He probably should be but he won'tGod I really wanna say Eli...
Never. Manning is all about his stats so he would cry to Fox if it was even suggested.Peyton Manning....
...for the entire 4th quarter next week when they face the Jags and are up by 50.
Huh? He came out without throwing a fit a couple weeks ago.Never. Manning is all about his stats so he would cry to Fox if it was even suggested.Peyton Manning....

Agreed - no way are they going with Curtis Painter or Ryan Nassib at this point. He probably should be but he won'tGod I really wanna say Eli...
At some point it should be considered...if not for playing in the NFC Least, they would be way out of it after this past Sunday. While I don't think it is a situation where they think they should get rid of Eli, I do think there are rare opportunities for decent teams (at least on paper) to "test out" the backup QB...the tail end of this year may be the opportunity so they know where they stand going into 2014.Agreed - no way are they going with Curtis Painter or Ryan Nassib at this point. He probably should be but he won'tGod I really wanna say Eli...
Although Nassib could possibly get an audition for the backup role very late in the season.
Doubt it. He's like Eli. Benching either of these guys signals the team is throwing in the towel for the season.R-burger
Can we bench Kubiak too?Schaub has to have this title locked up now, no?
He's gotta be gone at the end of the year. I see a house cleaning coming. Can we bench Kubiak too?Schaub has to have this title locked up now, no?
