Why can't we have one page with just scoring updates (1 Viewer)

NFL.COM you have to keep scrolling through games to get updates.

Why not have one message board that centralizes all that? Then I can watch the game, and those scouring NFL.COM can post updates.

Something like:

BUFFALO vs. INDY

REGGIE WAYNE just scored on a 5 yard pass.

A-Train heavily used in first two series, getting 15 carries out of 18 plays. (44 yards). First possesion resulted in 22 yard FG by Lindell.

PACKERS SCORE - Favre to Herron

Favre to Noah Herron for TD. Greenbay leads 10-0. Driver has 69 yards recieving.

Minnesota has 8 total yards. 3 and out on first possession. Brad Johnson fumble on second possession leading to easy Green Bay TD.

MIA vs KC

Ronnie Browns just scored an easy 1 yard TD. Play set up by a 46 yard flea-flicker to CHambers, Chambers looked like he was going in for 6, but was shoved and fell on the pylon...the zebras ruled he was down at the one.

KC responded with another 3 and out.

(a) it's more effort to repost than click

(b) no yardage data, many more people in performance leagues than td only

© not cool to repost a thread that was closed on you.

Scrolling through the NFL.com or FOXSPORTS.com scoring page is actually quite easy. Much easier the scrolling htrough a thread looking for your team, your players and your scores. And to top it all off it takes significantly longer to get results and then you have to hope that someone is updateing the stats accurately, never mind timely. It seems you are making an amazingly easy process (checking scores) much more difficult. :IBTL:

That would be great!!!But, no, I'm socially conscious. I'll post the scores from the game I'm watching. I'm spending so much time clicking through NFL.COM pages I'm not able to really concentrate on the game. Would be nice if just the scores and maybe occassional recap were posted by someone watching the game. They do it on FX radio. Can't recall which channel. But they go to a game when a team scores and give a little recap of the scoring drive. Maybe you don't see value, but don't lock it out. Others might be interested.

I like the gamecenter...when a team is in the redzone, just move your mouse over the link and you can see the play by play. As soon as someone scores, do the same to see who scored. You don't have to click into every game to see what is going on.

One stop shopping...

:2cents:

Farve to Driver for an 82 yd TD
