Why dis FBG tout Bullock K1 ? lol (1 Viewer)

fat boy never kicked a fg in nfl and FBG staff all over him pre season? lol

dude is the worst kicker i have ever seen

btw, i did staff him for 3 weeks and those 3 weeks was pathetic

and tonight is just a nail in the coffin

I can totally appreciate "slang" and some modern day abbreviations--but all I can say is "wow--I must be getting old". Between the title of the thread and the OP's first post on the thread-- I'm not sure if I'm just not cool anymore, or if I should go and bang my head against a dull rock. In any case, Bullock is terrible.

Man, respect his feelings. He lets you staff him for 3 weeks and you come on a public message board and tell everyone it was pathetic? That's low.

There really was no hope on the 55 yarder which should be makeable. He is brutal and the Texans need a new kicker ASAP. They win tonight with a good kicker.

That being said, the time mangement and playcalling by the Texans was something awful and you can see they missed Kubiak down the stretch. On the second last drive the Texans start with a nice 25 yard gain and proceed to huddle up like they have all the time in the world and then call 2 straight run plays (I do believe the bootleg was a designed run play for Keenum) and basically milk the clock down to the two minute warning before punting. Why they weren't in a 2 minute drill there is beyond me.

i think im done subscribing to fbg after this season. usually 3 strikes youre out but in this case. 2 strikes is valid to not renew contract.

last season was my first with FBG. i had 11th pick. they had steven jackson as #14 overall player. i took him. bust

this season, thier sleeper kicker was bullock. the most hyped kicker ever to never kick pro game. k1. let others pick legatron, prater, mason , the patriots kicker... lol

i never seen a kicker as bad as bullock. ever. after 3 games, i dropped this clown and was fortunate to pick up mason.

after last night drama and RW actually having a displeasing update on bullock, i have come to q conclusion that fbg experts do not know basic football.

Are you really pissed about the kicker ratings? I picked Bullock in almost all my leagues as well and guess what I did? I dropped him and grabbed somebody else. It's a kicker. They are basically all the same.

This is the literally this worst complaint I've ever heard on this site. FBG should remove your subscription and give you your money back just so you don't show up here again.

So you're saying they can't predict anything because they got a kicker wrong?

According to this: http://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/accuracy/draft.php they aren't too bad. Henry and Dodds in the Top 10 and Bloom @19.

Maybe it's you?
Yeah, but how good are they with kickers?
If you sort by Kicker rankings, FBG still has 2 in the Top 20. And again, this is really over a Kicker? I drafted Bullock in a bunch of leagues, he was gone from my team after Week 2. My teams have somehow managed to stay pretty good. Something tells me if your team isn't very good at this point, it's not because of a kicker.

I am not sure about what the OP is saying here with a kicker, but I do think, like most places, they tend to stay with players too long. For example, TRich was highly ranked this week across the board. I dont understand this. I would just lke to know the rationale. He has not shown anything this year, especially with the Colts. It would be nice to get some comments or to better understand their rationale for controversial rankings. TRich, week after week, seems to projected for 10+ points in a non ppr. We all have to make our own decisions and we cant blame FBG for who we start, but when I see all 3 experts saying to start him over Chris Johnson, for example, it gives me pause. Not because CJ had a better day so much, but for the fact that TRich has had no history or past this year to say he would put up any kind of decent numbers.

No way, dude. It's all because of his kicker. He lost by 40 this week and it's all his fault. The #1 ranked kicker should easily score 40 pts per game.

While you may have a valid point in general, you picked a poor example to illustrate it. What has Chris Johnson done all year to be ranked ahead of Richardson this week?

A week by week thread on the post-mortum (good and bad) for the weekly matchup rankings at every position might prove interesting.... and it might actually improve the rankings themselves.

Kicker is the least of the worries. With kickers you have to look at opportunities - Bullock had a shot at 4 FGA's & 3 XP's, that's excellent. Main thing is know to just stay away from one of these when they start missing. Bullock had appeared to have turned a corner and was doing better. - The guy still ended up with 7 points, which is median result I'd say, won't get you killed.

If you followed FBGs advice, he was your last round pick. I've cut a number of players that I drafted a lot higher than that.

Pryor number 8 this week as well. Gotta feeling a lot of subscribers got burned this week but it's not all FBG fault, owners need to take ownership.

Pretty sure Mike Herman knows more than anyone about kicking. Sometimes even the experts get things wrong.

Bullock was great in college so it's not like he can't kick and the Texans as a team had a solid recent history of producing top-5 kickers.

It sucks when players don't play up to your expectations, but I'm just curious why you took Steven Jackson if he was ranked 14th and you had the 11th pick?

I started Dalton this week over Luck partly due to the site's rankings. I was 8-0 partly due to the site's rankings as well, but now I'm going to be 8-1. I'm thinking about starting a lawsuit. Who's with me!?!?! :stirspot:

I'm with you! It took me NINE WEEKS to get to #1 in my league and that is UNACCEPTABLE. Clearly, the rankings, advice and information here SUCKS because if it was any good, I'd have been in first place since week one. Lawsuit here we come!!!

Nevermind the hundreds of dollars I won last year after being on this site for the first time, I want my $35 (with $20 in free FanDuel that I turned into $60) back!

Edit: But being serious. This site is a tool and a very useful tool, but it's just a tool. A person uses the tool to accomplish a task, the tool doesn't just do it by itself. When it comes down to it, you have to make the decisions yourselves. I think everybody would agree that after being here, you're much better off making a decision yourself than you would be if you weren't here.

I know how to put someone on "Ignore" but is there a way to be alerted whenever someone makes a post? I want an email or text message update for every post drake_ovo makes.

What i haven't seen mentioned is that you are really upset that someone else can't pick your fantasy team for you. Why do even play if you're that clueless.

Well you can't really blame them for that one then!

I just realized that he's the same poster who advised everyone to pick up TY Hilton off waivers last week. This thread makes a lot more sense now.

How can this possibly be the example you chose trying to talk about suscribers getting burned? And why would you then decide to post about it? Can you explain this post because this is one of the most mind boggling posts I have seen, just can't get my head around it really.

This is fortune telling and an Expert's ranking isn't going to be much better than an Aaverage Joe that's been playing the game for more than a 4 or 5 years. I come here to see the range of viewpoints in case I'm missing something by having a job outside of Fantasy. If I can open my eyes to another angle, opinion or player that flew under my radar, it's nice to have a net built by guys who get paid to do this, to help me from missing out on something I may have missed by not watching every game or statistic.

Who cares if a kicker is mis-ranked.

I got burned on Bullock too. They had him ranked as the number one kicker and I took him in two leagues! Lucky for me, he is a kicker, the most random position in fantasy football next to defense. I just picked one up that I thought would be good so that was a hit for me, not a strike.

Also, I took FBG advice that Jimmy Graham was a first round pick. Strike 9 for all the suckers in my league that let him fall to the 10th pick in my draft!!!!!

Ignoracio. Probably true. My point still remains that they have been sticking with Trich for too long expecting production. He should be falling down the board more significantly. Not remaining status quo. He is nothing more than a what the heck flex play. I understand u shouldn't panic but there has been plenty of history to suggest a flex play at best.

yeah i had 11th pick. took him on my return pick in 2nd round. took demarco at 11 last year

im not saying a kicker is ruining my teams. but 1 or 2 point can make a difference monday night.

and to confidently tout bullock is the kicker to have without any valid data is already a red flag. like they said, fool me once shame on u. fool me twice shame on me.

i pay 30$ for this. at least i can get is some good information.

if this was in the financial industry and a company promotes data that they cant be justify, the SEC will be knocking doors.

if this site is free, its one thing. but when u pay for a service u expect some sort of ROI. not recyle stuff from RW or Espn. and get cute with a non consensus kicker. lol
