Why does the NL get shafted by the playoff format every year? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone else noticed that the AL gets the advantage every year of how the LCS's are set up? If both LCS's go the maximum 7 games, the ALCS ends on a Wednesday and the NLCS ends on a Thursday. That means the AL team gets an extra day to rest and set up their pitching staff all nice for the World Series. Sure, you could say that the NL team needs to win their LCS in quicker fashion to give themselves more of a break, but that is a weak argument. This is an unfair advantage that is given to the AL every year. So, not only is the AL getting home field in the WS every year (for a stupid reason...winning the All-Star Game), but the league is giving them this slight advantage every year, too.

That 'unfair advantage' really helped the AL last year.ETA: :thumbup:
