Why doesn't the NFL have a shot clock buzzer like the NBA? (1 Viewer)

Football is a completely different animal. The "court " is much bigger, it is played outdoors, and has many more fansto drown out the sound. and any attempt to play a buzzer when the shot clock goes off would either blow peoples ear drums out who are near it in order to hear it down the field ( or have to have a series of quieter buzzers) The refs could still miss the call the same with a buzzer. The shot clocks are fine to determine the time left on the play. The issue is the missed call not the lack of a buzzer.

All it has to do is light up like a Christmas Tree signaling time has expired, flag should immediately be thrown. The Rainbow of colors or red neon lights coming on around the clock would be enough on replay to also overturn on confirm the delay of game like they do in Basketball

I'm intrigued and want to know more

Simply having one person (could be in a booth) watching the snap and the clock, and a willingness to stop a play, is all that’s really needed.
Yea it's not rocket science but just like why do we have chains for our first downs still, it's going to just stay the way it is.
