Why I think the Steelers are doomed (1 Viewer)

My second cousin (dad's cousin) died a month or so ago at the age of 44. Not sure of the cause of death, but he'd been in poor health for quite some time. Anyway, he was a really nice guy - big turn out for the wake, and it seemed that everyone that met him throughout his life truly liked him. But, this guy had the "Badluck Schleprock" syndrome like no one else I've ever met. Anytime he'd start to get his life moving forward, something would happen to set him back or turn him a bad direction. Lost an infant child, which caused his relationship with the mother to fall apart. Lost jobs, disability, drug and alcohol problems, health problems, etc. Everything he touched seemed to go bad.

Anyway, he had been a Seahawks fan for as long as I can remember. He was even buried with a Seahawks pin on his shirt. Not sure why he was such a fan; he's from the Cincinnati area and lived here all his life. But, like everything else in his life, the Seahawks seemed to never be able to pull it all together and succeed in the postseason, until this year.

He would have been happy as hell to have watched the Seahawks in the playoffs and ultimely play in the Superbowl. All those years of frustration would have finally paid off. As fate would have it, he never got a chance to see the team he loved progress to the ultimate game. Fate played another trick on him and took him before he got a chance to see something he always wanted to see.

It would be perfectly fitting, seeing how his life turned out, that the team he loved dearly would finally win a Superbowl, and he would not be around to enjoy it. Since it would seem a cruel twist of fate for this to happen, it's destined to be, as that was how his life was lived.

One of my best friends, who is a die-hard stiller fan, even has the Logo Tatooed on his arm, is the kiss of death and

he's going to the game, when he see's them live they always loose.

In the past I've taken the 4 hour drive to Cincy from Detroit, and he's dead silent on the way home cause they always loose.

Not to mention he went to the AFC title game vs Denver, another long ride home for him.

He is the Kiss of Death

Well that's all I need to hear. Seahawks 42, Steelers 13

I'm all about Shawn Alexander and the 'Hawks. They are so hot right now and I don't think Pitt's defense can stop'em. Anyways, I'm probably more into watching the commercials than anything. http://collegeguru.blogspot.com says they're going to put the ads online after they show...ahhhh...technology

As if spamming weren't bad enough... it's one thing to spell that QB's name wrong, but the MVP? Yikes.

Would seem to me he was never meant to win and his Seahawks will get crushed. I hope not but that's what I would take from that.
