Why is Bowe ranked 11 this week? (1 Viewer)

I have Bowe as a number 2, but I just don't see him coming through and won't be starting him against Baltimore, shorty CB's or not. I'd be surprised if KC even scores at all. So where is all the love for Bowe this week coming from? From what I've read Bowe has 15 receptions, 173 and one TD in 3 games against Foxworth, the most likely defender covering Bowe. 55 yard average and 0.3 TD's just don't equal a ranking this high this week.

Where did you get that info?

My guess is because he'st he only show in town and should receive a huge # of targets. Those #s you presented were when the Denver D had to worry about tony G and a rushing attack. KC has neither this year.

I also saw that report... Damne Bowe ranked 11? Guess I'll start him...he should get a ton of looks. You have to think the Cheifs will be in pass mode....

With all the troubles the Chiefs have on O line and unknown QB, he will be lucky to get 5 catches today. The Chumps could lose 6-36 today easily.

With Cassell apparently out today, Thigpen has the experience playing with Bowe. A tough matchup on the road against the Raven vaunted defense, without Tony Gonzo available to ease pressure on Bowe makes him a risky start. I am shying away from Bowe, thinking of going with Holt v. the Colts.

That sounds all good but I heard CROYLE is the backup...????

My mistake. Croyle IMO, is even more reason to not go with Bowe this week.

I believe Croyle is starting today.

as a KC fan just wondering how the heck Croyle won this job.....Thigpen actually looked good at times last year.....Croyle was the sucks

Bowe out, Santana Moss in for me. Just way too many variables in play here to have any kind of comfort level with Bowe. Croyle sucks. The Chefs would be lucky to cross their own 40 in this game.

Look at Croyles preseason numbers. he hasnt improved..hes a bust..he throws 5 yard dink passes..hes gonna get murdered out there today.

I'm not sure Croyle is a better QB than Thigpen either but since when do preseason #s mean anything, especially when the guy we are talking about played with the 2nd team? Also, you mention Croyle being 0-8 as a starter but the Chefs have been a terrible team all around. Hard to pin those losses on just the QB.

I still need to decide to start Bowe or Reggie Bush in my Flex.

Im starting to lean towards Bush now.....I just hate making last minute changes, they never seem to work out for me.

KC will be down by a lot perhaps by the end of the first quarter, and probably by the half.

Ravens RB look great, and Bowe could see like 16 targets the way they'll have to throw the ball.

The fact that KC will be behind early is what is making this a tough decision. I've got Gonzalez in over Bowe but in a PPR league Bowe will see a lot of targets. Still not sure on this one.

I'm sitting Bowe for Addai as my flex spot. I can't feel comfortable enough with Croyle as the QB to give Bowe the nod. I was shocked at Bowe's weekly ranking myself. I value the FBG opinion (they know more than me) but I think they're gonna be off a bit this week.

BTW-Thigpen was incredibly the 10th ranked QB in my league last year

Just for the record...Im sticking with Bowe......This is literally my biggest problem year after year...Is making these tough decisions..

Sticking with Bowe over Harvin, McFadden and Julius Jones.

Not an easy decision. but have to live with it. I drafted him before these guys for a reason.

OMG... NFL.com really does suck.... DAMN...

They showed it as a 97 yard TD...at first...

It even gave me 17 points on CBSsportsline...
