Why is HTH not a factor for NFL draft order? (1 Viewer)

Tampa and Cleveland will apparently flip a coin to determine the 3rd/4th picks, yet Tampa spanked them just last week. Why not HTH as a tiebreaker?

This also happened to Cleveland a couple years ago with Miami where they finished tied and Miami won HTH but had a tougher SOS so Miami got the higher pick.

Seems silly.

Oh, and nice to see my two favorite teams with top 4 picks. :bag:

I agree HTH should be a factor. If two teams with same record played each other the losing team should pick first.

Probably for no other reason than more than two teams being tiedTom
but there aren't more than two. they could have "two tied" and "more than two tied" rules like they do for the playoffs.

Maybe it's to keep a team from intentionally tanking if they are playing a team they know they might be in competition with for a draft pick.
