Why is San Diego defense against Cleveland ranked 28th? (1 Viewer)

I would think any defense (albeit my Lions) would do good against Cleveland.

So what's with the bottom ranking?

Maybe someone at Footballguys can explain this.

Didn't I see another thread earlier this week asking the same question?

They are 11th, not 28th.

They are 28th on the official cheatsheet and they have been since it came out on Wed. The rankings you posted are based on different projections. I forget what the difference is. I am fairly certain the 28th ranking is from Dodds only projection, but I can't be 100% sure.
Yep, I snuck in another post above yours where I saw where you were coming from. The projections page I posted are Dodds projections. Common sense says 28th is a mistake. I'd just go with the projections page and ignore the rankings page that has them #28.

Yea, I totally agree. I was replying when you posted again. It should be noted that they have some key injuries on defense this week, but with the SD offense likely to score a lot of points (and the CLE offense unlikely to keep pace), this should be another game against a bad team where the SD defense gets turnovers and ends up being a solid play.
