Why Week 14 MNF game IS NOT being flexed out (1 Viewer)

When the schedule first came out, one of the games that was supposed to draw the most interest was the Week 14 MNF game between the Bengals and the Cowboys. Now, it looks like neither team will be in the playoffs. But, here's the thing: ESPN refuses to flex out that game for another on the schedule. And the reason why? Apparently, the Week 14 game is supposed to be hosted by the Simpsons. That's right: Homer is supposed to be doing some big thing with Disney Plus, and that's the reason why the game isn't being flexed out. I'd rather watch a Simpsons episode instead of watching a live NFL game that's being hosted by Homer. D'oh!

That's cool 3 more hours I'd never get back if I felt inclined to watch

I've been skipping a lot of MNF, SNF, and TNF this year

I'll watch if they have one of the three good NFC North teams but otherwise IDC

Unless it's the Lions I usually just check the scores on my phone for all the single night games. I watch enough football Saturday and Sunday afternoons, where I can switch between games or go to redzone. Single games just drag on too much with all the long ad breaks.

Since cutting the cord I never watch the ESPN night game and rarely tune into the Thursday game unless it's got one of my teams of interest. Often I do laundry and catch up on life stuff while peaking at the score on my phone. And if its the Cowboys or Jets getting waxed I'll pop in here to read the game thread for lol's.
