Will B.Jacobs or L.White ever score this season? (1 Viewer)

What's up with Brandon Jacobs and Lendale White?

I'm in a td heavy league and neither one of them has come close to scoring yet this season. In 2008 B.Jacobs scored 15td's in 13 games. L.White also scored 15tds in 2008. What gives?

Is their quiet performance thus far a trend or will they start hitting the endzone sometime soon?

They will never score again. I'd waive them now.

White benefited from a lot of drives getting into the 10 yard line and him being the goal-line guy. That hasn't happened yet this year. However with Johnson's ability I am expecting White to have less TDs this year anyway.

Kind of the same deal with the Giants. Scoring from farther out and Jacobs doesn't break 30 yard TDs runs. he'll get his

I was thinking about posting the same thing. I played them both this week, yuck. 1 point and 3 points doesn't cut it for your RB1.

Looks like teams are going to have to deal with Eli throwing it around fairly soon and that is when I expect Jacobs to start getting his.....hopefully it isn't too late.

As far as White goes.....when the Titans get some goal line opp's he will get his TD's. They nearly had a chance at the 9 yard line on a muffed fair catch. Jacoby Jones tried to fair catch the ball and muffed it, a titans player caught it in mid air before it hit the ground. Tenn looked to have 1st and 10 at the Hou 9..........I was thinking it was Lendale time.....but then the refs gave the ball to Houston because the ball needs to touch the ground before a defender can recover it on a fair catch. Which BTW I think is BS......not just because it would have helped me. Changed the momentum of the whole game.

Last year, Jacobs 1st TD didn't come until the 3rd game. Then he went on a TD binge.
