Will Charles Woodson play safety again this week? (1 Viewer)

I didn't get to watch the game but I heard Woodson played predominantly as a safety last week against Carolina.

Woodson has been probably the 2nd best shutdown corner this yr behind Namdi.

I'm interested to hear if anyone thinks Woodson will play safety again this week against Houston.

Green Bay coaches had plenty of good things to say about Woodson after the Carolina game (they apparently gave him a pass for Steve Smith's backbreaking long reception and concluded he was not responsible for any part of the other long pass plays and two long runs the Packers gave up last week), and they have often no't been pleased with the run fits, pursuit angles or coverage instincts of Rouse or Bigby this year. I think there's a much better than average chance that Woodson sticks at safety, even if the two safeties are healthy.

UPDATE: Probably the biggest headline is that Charles Woodson will start at safety for the second straight week. Atari Bigby is out; Aaron Rouse practiced today and likely will be the top backup.
