Will Darren Sharper be worth anything? (1 Viewer)

What do you guys think of Darren Sharper now that he is in Minn? With the revamped D in Minnesota and age/injuries it looks as his value will drop from years past, no?

Depends on the depth of your league, I drafted him as a backup behind Reed, G Wilson and Sean Jones...but I think he is very capable of 60-70 UTs and 5-7 INTs. So my answer is that in our scoring system, he is a top 30 DB.

Hey Mr. KIA- Again I am sorry about that Gibril Wilson mis-info. I live in New York making it even more embarrassing :X I will get it straight and let you guys know how he looks when the season starts.Below is who is in the FA pool. I can get a LB or DB. Scoring is 1pt. solo, .5 asst, 3 sack/int, 6 td.

C. Watson

E. Henderson

R. Godfrey

K. Bell

O. Thurman

M. Greenwood

J. Darling

S. Jones

B. Sanders

T. Davis (Car - DB)

T. Kiel

M. Beisel

M. Boulware

Jump all over Boulware.I have Thurman, Watson and Jones on my sqaud in a similar scoring system to yours....but I should have taken Boulware before any of those guys and I missed out on him.I also like Kiel on that list.

Ummm, without question- I repeat without question- the most valueable player in that list is Morlon Greenwood. He should have been drafted in every single IDP league. He is a lock for a top 15 LB and perhaps top 10. He is taking over Jamie Sharper's position and will be a stud. Consider yourself lucky that your league didn't do their homework and grab him right away.

C. Watson O. Thurman M. Greenwood J. Darling S. Jones T. Kiel M. Boulware All those guys are worthy of consideration - it depends on what your depth is at each position.

Thanks Guys for all your help. I will do my best to return the favor. I picked up Greenwood, and now I have Greenwood and Wong  I was looking at Boulware (due to KIA's suggestion) and he had some damn good numbers the last few games of last season. Below is my current IDP crew, would you guys drop anyone for Boulware? We start 2 D, 2 DB and 3 DL. Thanks again!D A. Wilson (Ari - DB) D J. Trotter (Phi - DL) DB D. Robinson (Hou - DB) DB G. Wilson (NYG - DB) DL J. Peterson (SF - DL) DL K. Wong (Hou - DL) DL L. Marshall (Was - DL) BN S. Taylor (Was - DB) BN M. Greenwood (Hou - DL)

I would drop Trotter for Boulware and then stick Greenwood in Trotter's position. Philly has a good D and they won't be on the field much. When they are on the field they should be winning the game forcing the other teams to throw more. Trotter is on the bench for their nickel and dime packages and therefore shouldn't get many more than 60 solo tackles.

I don't really do IDP but I am a Vikings' fan and just as an FYI - Sharper is listed as the top punt returner right now for the Vikings so I don't know if you could get anything from the special teams or not, but just thought I'd give you the heads up.

That's really surprising to me - I don't think of him as the punt returner type.
