So, when Jason Garrett is fired by the Cowboys, do you think he will ever get another head-coaching gig in the NFL?

If the likes of Norv Turner and **** Jauron can get second, third and fourth chances then I see no reason Jason Garrett won't be some other cities laughing stock in the near future as well.

Jerry Jones is starting to remind me of Bill Ford Sr with his coaching hires.

I'm guessing he'll coach in Dallas this week...

right back at'cha
Another - used to refer to an additional person or thing of the same type as one already mentioned or known about; one more; a further.

Dallas is #1 in the division why no shanahan, chip Kelly, or tom coughlin threads?
Well lets see... Dallas probably should have lost to the Vikings last week. Past that, they're tied for 1st in the division, the Eagles are too 5-5. On top of that, if the Giants win against the Rodger-less Packers next week, they will be going into Week 12 with the solid potential of them being tied for 2nd with the Giants and having the Eagles sit atop the division. Unless the Eagles were to lose to Washington.

Either way... they at one point looked to have a stranglehold on the division and now? In typical Cowboys fashion, they may end up being tied for the division with the former 0-6 Giants. I don't know if that just means the Giants are 200x better than they looked earlier. But it most certainly means the Cowboys aren't as good as they looked earlier.

The entire NFC East is rancid. Victor Cruz got it right when he said the race was to 8 wins. It is still anyone's division to win.

Back to the thread...Garrett was an excellent OC but a poor HC. The number of games where the clock was grossly mismanaged are too numerous to list here. The Cowboys are no better than 8-8 but the primary culprit is JJ not JG. Until the owner fires the GM, nothing will change.

The Cowboys should have beat the Broncos and Chiefs but didn't so are we going to count that since they barely beat the Vikings? Also the Giants have beaten the Vikings, Raiders, and Eagles so I am not exactly sure they are back. Cowboys are in sole possession of first place in the NFC East due to their 3-0 record against the division. They have slowed down due to injuries and at one point last night only had 2 starters on the defense on the field. They have been crippled by defensive line injuries which as we all know is the key to dominant defense. If they had a coordinator of the year award it would be Rod Marinelli for the patchwork job he has done. The season has been disappointing no doubt but to single out Garrett as one of the worst coaches in the entire league is ridiculous.

and to be far, they should of beaten Det who made an unthinkable comeback and had a good chance to beat Denver. Last night there was a ton of injuries (again!!) and the defense was made out of swiss cheese. Their 3 - 0 in the division and I will reserve my final judgement on them after they play the Giants in week 12, but imo this thread is a week or 2 early.

Good points, last night was the 1st game they were dominated in. The issue I think the team has is the OC and game playing which should be pointed at the head coach. They throw it a zillion times against a team they should run at and then constantly run at a team that should be thrown at. I understand you want to keep the ball away from Brees but you need to score points as well, not every team can beat the Saints like the way the Jets did.

Start your own threads, but at least Coughlin and Shanahan have won playoff games, or even been in the playoffs. Garrett has made blunder after blunder as a head coach. He might be a decent OC, but he is a terrible head coach, and fortunately for him, Jerry Jones has too much pride to admit he was wrong in hiring him.

Please forgive my good friend simmonjm. His views do not reflect the views of most Cowboy fans or any objective observers, for that matter.

The cowboys are a bad team, made worse by injuries. But the latter does not fully explain the former.
