Will Philly shut down Westbrook (1 Viewer)

Yes, I play in a total points league that runs through Week 17. I hate the fact that the NFL pandered to Dallas by moving their game to 4pm and possibly giving them an opponent who has nothing to play for other than pride. I've seen Reid shut Westbrook down in Week 17 in previous years when nothing was at stake. With his current injury situation(knee and ankle), what are the chances that B-Dub gets the chance to play the whole game if Philly is eliminated from playoff contention by 4:15pm?

 it's Cowboys/Eagles. it's a great rivalry.im the one who should be complainin. since they moved it to an afternoon game i get the niners game on tv. so i'm goin to the local sports bar.

Is it because you are a NFL fan who is upset that he is missing a great matchup or are you a part of the displaced "Cowboy Nation" living on the West Coast?

Reid only rests the players for the playoffs. I'm thinking no matter what, he plays everyone and plays to win. He can't be feeling too confident with his job security these days, so I'm sure he'll want a strong showing againt Dallas.

It's the last game of the season. He'll have plenty of time to rest after the game.

Also even if they are eliminated the opportunity to eliminate the Cowboys should motivate them

bothwe get the raiders and niners games every week! good thing i have a sports bar with NFL ticket within walking distance of my house.

With the game in Philly and Dallas' playoff hopes on the line....the worst thing Reid could do would be to sit Westbrook.

thats what i'm thinkin. this is the NFL. every week means something. even if a team is eliminated from the playoffs, guys are trying to keep their spots. coaches are trying to keep their jobs. and to top it off, this is the Cowboys/Eagles! i dont believe for a second, that the eagles arent gonna be up for this one. and they're at home!

Starters will not be rested unless they're too injured to play. The only not-previously-injured-before-Week-16 Eagle that's been declared out is Victor Abiamiri. Westy will play unless he has a setback.
