I Love Doggies
New England had 9 picks on day 2 of the draft.

Now they have 8 picks and Randy Moss.

WOW. :excited:

People said the same things when Dillow showed up.

Moss wants to win, he has a great work ethic, but lacks the maturity to handle losing.

When he's motivated and winning, he's a top 5 wr.

Yes.

Moss and TO are different guys, Moss has self control, TO can't help himself. It's really up to Randy what he does.

SB.. Back to Back.. 2007 & 2008..Stallworth's Value just hit the dirt ;)
I dont think that Stallworth's value hit the dirt. I do think that it goes down a bit but once he and Moss learn to work with Brady I feel they will feed off of each other and have very good fantasy value, IMO.

It is time in Moss`s career to win.

moss said that the Pats were the only team he would take a pay cut for. That says something right there.

Moss is, imo, one of the more misunderstood players in the NFL. From everything I hear and read, he is basically a quiet guy, a private guy, has done a lot of good work in the community - not just giving his name or money but his time and effort. The guy seems to really care about people.

Yes, he takes plays off. Yes, he is immature at times (i.e. the water bottle). But I he is not a "bad person" nor does he look and try to be destructive... ala T. Owens. The two are not that easily comparable.

I think Moss has an organization around him that he knows will demand and earn his respect. Moss, if he can stay healthy (sizeable if, at this point) could once again be on track to the record books. Man, Brady went from never having much of anything at WR to Moss and Stallworth?

The Jets draft just got a WHOLE lot worse. I dont see how NE doesnt win that division - and the SB is theirs to lose at this point. Indy is going to have to score 50 against them.

I gaurantee you that if Moss was not allowed to leave Oakland he would resort to TO tactics doing everything in his power to force a trade. He didnt even return any of Lane Kiffin's phone calls.

The Patriots are the only teamthat woutld TAKE HIM that he would play for. Like TO, Moss has expressed more than once he would like to play in Atlanta, and I am sure there were others..

No link offhand. Have seen on more than one occasion a TV piece, or read things which had me arrive at my conclusion. Seems like a good guy, more shy/introverted than people realize. But he also seems to get it (i.e. understanding what is important in life) a lot more than people realize. Hopefully some of that info is googleable or something. Not saying the guy is perfect, or that he can not get exceptionally immature at times, but after I learned about this stuff, I very much saw moss in a different light.

yep, i remember seeing that he lives in a quiet retirement like community in FL and keeps to himself and goes fishing alot.

Moss will last a full season with the Pats. I think he and stallworth will work well together. Stallworth should benefit from the double teams that moss commands much like burelson did in Minnesota.

I'm going to say that not only will Moss last the entire season he will thrive there. The guy is still talented as hell. The Pats are going to be even scarier next season.
