I've been holding him for 2 years hoping for a solid QB. I was hoping for something better than this but is it enough?

I've been holding him for 2 years hoping for a solid QB. I was hoping for something better than this but is it enough?

Sage ain't the QB....yet. He's just compete-in'....he's just roster fodder.Either way, Rice stands an equal chance, no matter who's deliverin' the rock.

Aside from Jackson's playoff blunder, he was a top ten QB over the last four weeks.......he's compete-in', too.

I'm hoping so!! I still believe Rice has rare talent and can be a very good WR in this league, he just needs a QB. Sage is so erratic, you never know what he's going to do from game to game, although you could make the same statement about Jackson. It'll be interesting to see who wins this battle. I think we've seen the best Sage can do, which is pretty good, but Jackson is still growing as a QB and could end up having a breakthrough year. Gotta love Sage as an insurance policy if not though.

I think QB was the smaller of Rice's problems. His real problem is staying healthy.

without a solid #2 WR on the other end, I doubt Rice will ever develop into a big time WR..also, consider the schizoprenic game-planning/play calling by Childress ..maybe on another team, but not with this group. Rice is talented but that doesn't mean he's going to a pro bowl anytime soon. Rosenfels is not a very good QB, so I'm not so sure the QB position is going to be any better than it was with T. Jackson under center..
