Will Smith arrested on domestic battery charge against wife (1 Viewer)

What if it comes out later that his wife was drunk and belligerent in the club and was trying to instigate something herself, or was threatening someone with the imposing nature of her husband, and all he was doing was dragging her away from the inflamatory situation and yelling at her to shut her mouth before she got them in a brawl or a shooting? What then? Would his behavior have been appropriate then? He shouted at her and drug her away by her hair. (Good thing she was not sporting a weave)

What a horrible human being.

I hope someone punches him in the face the next time he plays.

Did you read the comments by the fans at the bottom of the page? Those Saint fans have already decided he's gone from the team LMAO.

Cant say that. No one knows what was said or done to cause him to grab her by the back of the head prolly and walked her out.

That's crazy! I remember thinking...man his wife is hot but he looks miserable...during that thanksgiving thing during the game.

As if there is a legitimate excuse?
Oh yes there can be excuses. Lets not go into "never lay hands on a women no matter what" because I find that to be BS.I am not giving a pass but we don't know the whole story

FWIW, Will Smith's wife's response on Twitter:

If his wife is not pressing charges, then how can the legal system "take its course"? Are the police prosecuting him against her wishes or something?

Sounds like either battered wife syndrome or that nothing actually happened, as has been supposed above...

As to the comment from the Michigan fan above...what? 7 years in a row getting you angry? :lmao:

Maybe Smith was just celebrating the OSU win by tuning up his wife. :lmao: With Carr I used to get angry if Michigan lost, with Rich Rod the anger is long gone. I did not even watch the game for the first time I can remember.

If a crime may have been committed, the state can still prosecute even if the spouse does not want to press charges. When I turned 18 years of age, I was a jury member for a case where a husband beat his wife. The wife called the police and, upon their arrival, told the police she was abused. However, as in many spousal-abuse cases, she changed her story days later and did not want to press charges. Nonetheless, the state moved forward with the case. The husband was found "not guilty" primarily based on the testimony of the abused wife. :lmao:

since I woke up cynical this morning, so"Those NFL checks are pretty nice"

there's no way to make sense of (attempted or alleged or actual) domestic violence. Waste of time trying.
