Read an article on ESPN that said that asst head coach Russ Grimm and OC Todd Haley could turn into hot commodities because of this playoff run. Is this really where the modern NFL is? We raid the Cardinals coaching staff to find the hot head coaching candidates now? Boy things have changed around here.

If not "hot," Grimm was at least a "warm" HC prospect when leaving Pittsburgh. I don't see how an Arizona playoff run would hurt his chances. Point taken about how things have changed when the Cardinals are even being discussed in any capacity at this time of year, though.

Haley has a prior history with Dallas, but a run in with T.O. The Joneses really like him.

IF the red head gets his job in Detroit or Denver, I see Dallas making a run at Haley.

Then it's a question of who we go after on defense. Not sure if Haley could also influence the DC from AZ to come as well.

Grimm was a candidate a couple of years ago so it is no suprise he is getting mentioned again. If the Steelers would have promoted from within it was going to Grimm or Whisenhunt.

Haley has gotten some mention in the past about moving up, but I think this is a bit premature of him getting a head job this year.
