FWIW, on NFL Network Marshall Faulk just stated 'no Willis McGahee' while making his pick on the Browns-Ravens game.Hardly a clear mandate; I'll definitely wait for something more dependable than this.Post updates here
I heard this also and am wondering if Ray Rice would be a good play today against the Browns ?FWIW, on NFL Network Marshall Faulk just stated 'no Willis McGahee' while making his pick on the Browns-Ravens game.Hardly a clear mandate; I'll definitely wait for something more dependable than this.Post updates here
I watched his update - seconds after he said McGahee should go he said McGahee might not go. :confusing sideline reporting:From Rotoworld:Willis McGahee-RB-Ravens Nov. 2 - 10:30 am et According to NFL Network's Darrin Horton, Willis McGahee (ankle, questionable) is expected to start against Cleveland on Sunday. The inactives will begin being posted in roughly one hour, so we'll know for sure then. In the event McGahee can't go (which Horton points out is unlikely), LeRon McClain and Ray Rice would share carries about evenly.
Regardless of whether Mc Gahee plays or not, Rice will get approx. 15-20 touches total.I watched his update - seconds after he said McGahee should go he said McGahee might not go. So....because he got 11 touches last week (high for the year), he will get more this week regardless of McGahee's role? Jinx - you owe me a coke. LOLSchefter just said that McGahee is a go in Clevelend today. No link - it was said on the NFL Network.
Harbaugh has stated that Rice had his best week of practice to date. This includes pass protection as well as hitting the hole and route running. This combined with McGahee's health issues lead me to believe that Rice's touches will increase today. I will bump this thread after the game. Good luck today all!So....because he got 11 touches last week (high for the year), he will get more this week regardless of McGahee's role? probably so...the ravnzfan takes the under 15 touches in the "who gets what if Willis McGahee is out" derbyRay Rice, as nice as he's looked in limited duty, is a long way from 20 touches/gameI didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but my guess he's a Rice owner.So....because he got 11 touches last week (high for the year), he will get more this week regardless of McGahee's role? Willis McGahee, RB BALNews: As first reported on Fantasy Football Today, Ravens RB Willis McGahee is active for Week 9 at Cleveland but will be a game-time decision to start. As CBS analyst Rich Gannon mentioned on the show, Ray Rice is expected to shoulder a sizable portion of the Baltimore running game.Analysis: Suddenly, McGahee's outlook for Week 9 isn't as rosy. Expect him to split carries with Rice against a Browns run defense that has improved over the past couple of weeks. Figure both Ravens RBs to be No. 3 Fantasy rushers, with LeRon McClain likely to get involved as well.

Yeah.. I get to start Jamal Lewis over him now. Of course last time I sat McGahee he had like 18 pts.Guess I'll start Grant over Willis this week even though the matchup is bad.
Love Braylon this week. Ravens are playing without three starters in their secondary. Braylon goes bigtime today.ahhh. I have both Raven's RBs or could stick Braylon Edwards in there instead. Will now bang my head against the wall.
I know, I like him too. Just wanted Willis to be healthy.Love Braylon this week. Ravens are playing without three starters in their secondary. Braylon goes bigtime today.ahhh. I have both Raven's RBs or could stick Braylon Edwards in there instead. Will now bang my head against the wall.
I dont care either way too much as I have both players and have chosen to go another route with RB's ... but I love it when others want to believe someone who has been a member longer than the other when there is a disagreement. you're a ######## my friend. for all you know, the ladder guy has been playing FF longer and just didint hear about this site till later or just chose not to sign up till much later. go fly a kite guy.Call me crazy, but I feel a bit more confident in Ravnzfan, member 802, than member 33,717. But don't worry, I'll bump this for you after the game. I'm sure you'll come back and admit the error of your prediction ways.

clearly you know your sh-it...I'm not here to piss in anyone's corn flakesthe way this thing is panning out, all 3 guys look to get around 10-15 touches, as I don't see Willis getting a big workload gimping around on 1 1/2 wheelsbut unless both McGahee and McClain come up seriously lame, I find it had to believe HC & OC go w/the rookie to carry the heaviest load(which is what 20 touches will equate to), considering this is a divisional matchup, on the road and the chance to catch the Steelers who have their hands full w/the Redskins this weekbut hey---I've only been playing this for 15 yrs, run 15 leagues and have watched 90+% of every Raven snap over 11 yrs ***update***Round 1 to Islanders Rule, as RR had 4 touches on the 1st drive, leading to Raven 41 yd FGat this pace, 'lil Ray gets 48 touches today!Thank you,I have been a member for 7 years. F Mcgahee.
The ironic part of this is that NFL network made a comment this morning that McGahee was the first Raven on the field today. I have a had a feeling all week long that this was going to be RR's day. Now we just need the ravens to pull out the game.SCT said:Firstly, let me give props to islanders. Good job.Secondly, f mcgahee. i own him in both leagues and started him in both on this mornings news. f harbaugh too.

Nobody had a clue Willis wouldn't even play. He was active. Not much anyone can do about that.Just wish someone could have given a heads up so i wouldn't have left Rice on my bench. I'll never win at this game with this kind of BS going on on a daily basis.

As promissed, This thread is bumped and would have been regardless of the outcome. I am not a prophet, but I do my homework and it paid off today.
