Wilson/Baldwin/Zeke/Morris <-> Ryan/Hunt/Reed/Landry/West (1 Viewer)

Here's the trade I'd like to do. Receiving end of Wilson. The key facts: NPPR, 12 team league, we have the highest scoring team (we'll have the tiebreaker), positioned to get a bye, playoffs week 14-16. Our team before and after the trade:

Before:

QB: Ryan, Manning

HB: Fournette, Hunt, Ingram, Invory, West, Rod Smith

WR: Brown, Landry, Hogan

TE: Cook, Reed

Def: Rams

K: Succup

After:

QB: Wilson

HB: Fournette, Ingram, Elliot, Rod Smith, Morris

WR: Brown, Baldwin, Hogan

TE: Cook

Def: Rams

K: Succop

+ plus two new roster spots because I can drop Manning and net 1 on the trade.

Here's why I like the trade: gives us an upgrade at QB and WR. In theory we'll only take the hit at the Flex for week 15. Week 16 Zeke will be back. I like the extra roster spots. I'm also pretty nervous about Hunt. That said, am I jumping ship on too early on Ryan, Hunt, and Reed down the stretch? In my head I think Morris or Smith will be viable flex options and I have both. Maybe Elliot comes back sooner too? I also can deal Hogan now before the trade deadline as Baldwin is a must start.

While you do get an upgrade at QB giving away Hunt is stupid as he could get you to week 16 while Elliott won't and in a one week game the difference between Hunt and Elliott is going to be negligible.  I also don't think Baldwin is that big of an upgrade over Landry.  It might make a difference knowing who you were going to pick up with the 2 spots.

I'm pretty happy I made the deal. Wilson can pretty much make up any gap for the drop off at flex. Plus Hunt was outscored by Morris straight. I have Elliot in the finals or 3rd place game-- love it.
