This one kind of flew under the radar but here's an update from KFFL:

Browns | Crennel hopes Winslow can play Week 4

Mon, 24 Sep 2007 13:06:55 -0700

Scott Petrak, of the Medina Gazette, reports Cleveland Browns head coach Romeo Crennel said he hopes TE Kellen Winslow (shoulder) will be able to play Week 4 but it is too early to tell. Winslow bruised his shoulder during the team's Week 3 game. His shoulder was wrapped and it appeared he was receiving electric stimulation.

Realize that the guy got 56 yards receiving on a single drive at the end of the game. He was run into the ground trying to win that game yesterday. Last I checked he played the entire year last year and has yet to not start this year. Has anyone seen the Blogger? Looks like a MASH unit. Anyone who says a player that has made 19 straight starts and is dinged up a bit is made of glass has no understanding of Football. Is his contract still all incentives? If so, the guy will play. He played all of last year to earn those incentives.

The guys is a freakin soldier. He is easily my favorite player in the NFL and seems to be the only one (maybe Edwards too) with pasion on that team. The play he got injured on, the Browns had the ball on their own 40 with less than 30 seconds to play, and no timeouts. Anderson threw it to Winslow across the middle where he was being triple teamed. It was a terrible throw and Winslow sacrificed his body to get to the Raider's 33 to give the Browns a legit shot of winning the game. Winslow is flat out amazing, he would be one of the first player's I would pick if I were starting a team.

I agree. Winslow may have done some immature things in the past, but this guy is a beast. On tope of being very talented, he plays with passion and he always gives 100%. You can't ask for more than that.

When the injury happened, you could tell that he was hurting pretty bad, but he rushed to get lined up so Anderson could spike the ball & put them in position to go for the win. It was pretty impressive.I'm no Browns fan, and K2 has said some very stupid stuff, but yesterday he really left it all out on the field.

Not exactly a major newspaper here in NE Ohio. Is any other media outlet confirming this story?
