I counted only 19 "Q" players that fall within the salary guidelines. Adding Quinton McCracken and Quilvio Veras brings it to 21.Maybe we could throw the letter out (or combine Q with the second least common surname letter) and replace it with a single wildcard round about round 16 or so

1. Are we going to require people to name the season when the pick? IE, I'll take Barry Bonds 1991? Or is it enough to say I'm taking Barry Bonds?

There might be some strategy in changing your season, and not knowing what people are doing in terms of strategy. But I don't know if it's ever been done that way.

I'm fine with making people name their season.

We generally haven't required the season to be selected at the time the pick is made. It can slow the draft down if a player doesn't have an obvious outlier season and it makes roster verification more of a pain.
