with DD still hurting ? (1 Viewer)

I have been taking Morency as a late round flier in a lot of leagues. A lot probably depends on roster size. I am a bit surprised that the Domanick Davis owners have not been willing to give up anything for him though. If you have fairly large rosters I would pick him up and hold onto him until DD shows he is ready.

The DD owners are holding out hope that he'll show up week 1 and everything to be fine. You will have to wait until the regular season to get any value for him. Considering you have Lundy, Morency and potentially A. Smith in the mix there are a lot variables and no one is exactly sure where everyone fits in right now. At least I'm not.

I agree with this. I think there's a lot of praying going on with Dom. Given that, I'm not sure why a lot of folks have been passing on Morency(and Lundy). My main money league completed its draft about a week ago. The DD owner selected him in late round 2. As his injury came to light he, and the rest of the league for that matter, continued to pass on any other Houston back. Didn't make sense to me then and doesn't now either. Smith was finally selected around round 14 or 15(not by the DD owner). I got Morency as my final pick(round 20). I've kept my eye on a few other leagues drafts while I was drafting and it seemed a lot of DD owners were taking the same route(again, pre-"not practicing for a month"): Spent an early pick on Dom and then stocked up on other RBs without his handcuff(s). Morency(or Lundy, I guess) could wind up being a nice little chip for where a lot of people wound up landing them come the regular season. That's basically why I grabbed him. If he starts then I'll try to flip him. If no one bites, but he produces, then bonus. If not it was my last pick so I can cut him without feeling like I wasted anything.
RBBC all the way in HOU
I'm not so certain of that. Maybe at first, but if one of the backs get "hot" I think they'll feed that guy.
