They would definitely be smart to trade back. What will teams be willing to offer is the question. I love Breece's game and talent but he's is really small. Will teams be willing to invest so much into a guy smaller than Kyler?
I'd be surprised if that was considered a serious knock on Young.
Young has shown he’s better than Murray, IMO. He can make all the throws and his poise under pressure is legendary. He’s gonna be a fine pro.
He and Stroud are clearly the QB1-2 in whichever order. Stroud’s performance on NYE against that tough defense answered any questions about his game IMO.
Young really has everything apart from the size and weight. If he was 6’2 220 he’d be a slam dunk and probably be more highly regarded than Caleb Williams.
There’s no data to support someone his size succeeding but the landscape of the NFL has changed and has there ever been as good of a prospect his size to compare to anyway
I agree. Additionally, I’m seeing a ridiculous amount of hype about Levis, and it’s giving me flashbacks to Zach Wilson.
Lots of YouTube video showing Levis making crazy arm throws against
very little competition has people gushing about him. Mel Kiper apparently loves him.
Meanwhile, those videos conveniently leave out the braindead interceptions thrown trying to force throws into double coverage with literally nobody open.
IMO, he is the Zach Wilson of the 2023 draft.. cerebrally he’s a terrible quarterback. But everyone is falling in love with his size and the cannon of an arm. Richardson is a better prospect, even though he’s a two year project.
