Just curious to see what others think. I probably would go back to just watching the Giants, with the exception of some big matchups. I'd probably never watch Baltimore/Cinci type games.

I'd watch it all the time just like I used to. I'd probably enjoy it more. I hate you, fantasy. Release me from your horrible clutches.

I'd still watch every Eagles game. Besides that i'd watch anywhere from 0 to 2 other games a week.

I agree, actually FF has ruined me as a fan of the game. I do not get into any playoff pools because I want to watch and enjoy the games for what they really are.

I'm too much of a football fan to not spend my Sundays watching it. I always did before FF. I don't think it would change without it. I love the game and love the league too much to not appreciate the games. I can't go out in the yard and play anymore, so why not at least watch it? It's all I have left to get my football mo-jo on.

I'd watch more I spend too much time sitting in front of the computer zoning out to stats to pay attention now.

:lmao:
I realized it was out of hand when I was in a BuffaloWWs and on two different occasions people where cheering when players got hurt because they were playing against them in FF.

Id watch all Giants games that I could, like now - would watch more Jets games and probably be more interested in some good games on Monday night because I'd miss watching some football. But no way would I have 2-3 TVs on Direct TV.

Unless I became a degenerate gambler.

Hmmmm.

I watch a lot - the thing I learned to do was not check my scores until like halftime and end of game of each of the weeks games. So I only check llike 3 or 4 times max. Leads back to my enjoyment. That being said if I was not in fantasy outside of my favorite team and some good matchups I would watch less.

For example I would not watch the Broncos, Browns game tonight without fantasy. I'd check it out for a few plays here and there but would not be glued to it. Now if the Eagles Giants for example (2 teams I don't root for) were on I would watch the whole thing.

Although I cnacelled my NFL Network because I refused to pay the comcast sports tier price....

about the same;

I used to watch games JUST for the fantasy impact. With 4 teams plus various other pools, gmabling on em; etc. i could crazy if I looked at how every play impacted me.

Now I watch the games I want - generally NYG games when I can find em' ( I don't live in NJ anymore); bigger games, MNF etc. and don't worry about fantasy impact until I check scores AFTER all of the 4:00 EST Sunday games.

I usually don't watch much more than Vikings games anyway besides the playoffs, I find watching games just to watch guys on my fantasy team pretty dull and I don't pretend to be any kind of scout which is why I come on here. If there wouldn't be a commercial on every other freaking play I would probably be inclined to watch more football especially since mot football games don't conflict with NHL games

I do this too, it's insane.
I'm flipping between CBS and FOX on the TV and running Channelsurfing.com on the laptop while updating game stats on Yahoo and updating the Footballguys.com game threads and injury threads. I would actually "watch" and see more NFL action if my eyes weren't glued to the laptop. At this point I'm more of a game listener and flipper with the occasional rewinding if I hear something exciting.

See, I wish I could do that. Part of the addiction for me is always knowing where my teams are at, how many pts I'm ahead or behind and what I need to have happen. When I step outside of myself and think about it, it's actually insanity.

I would watch more "complete" games.

On the average Sunday, I'm split between watching the Red Zone channel and keeping up with stats on NFL.com.
