Wk14-New York Jets at New England Patriots (1 Viewer)

New England ranks 22nd in pts allowed and 32nd in yards allowed on defense...if that doesn't define a lucky 9-2 team in the NFL, not sure what else does. They are very good at taking advantage of other teams mistakes but they are far form a world beater.
I looked it up- that's not the definition.

you obviously haven't watched them a lot this year
Every week I watch them and they are exactly as I describe it. They are like a wall you hit off with a tennis ball, they simply keep the ball in play and wait for you to make a mistake. They have very few turnovers on the year. A week ago Oakland had something like 25 fumbles to New England having only 6. Brady has 5 interceptions on the season to Dallas having around 16+...they just don't make a lot of mistakes. They are not just mowing people down. 32nd in the NFL on defense, that would be dead last for those that need help, you don't achieve that by being a great football team. I don't think New England ever thought they would win this many games.I'm entitled to my opinion.

Dear Revis,

Instead of "covering Brady" you might want to start covering some of the Pats receivers. Cromartie doesn't seem to be able to.

The young Jets are being tought a lesson ......

By the Pars veterans and coaches...

Overrated!

Anyone disagree the Pats line is much better than the Steelers or Colts? Not to mention the coaching and rolling the protection.

WTF is Gruden talking about? The Jets are going in the right direction...

Yes, they have several lucky wins this year. Their Defense is beatable. Their Offense is stoppable. Their Special Teams is very good.

He was trying to tell the Jetties that their goal is the other way.

3rd and 3 with the way Sanchez has been passing. Why don't they try to run the ball? Aren't the Jets supposed to have this mythically great run blocking OL?

The defense is below average, but the offense is stellar. Best in the league by a long way in my opinion. That will always win you a lot of games in the regular season. As to the playoffs when defense starts to matter more, we'll just have to see.
