Wolamute puppies! (Twin Cities) (1 Viewer)

Questions from ADufresne in the latest dog thread got me thinking that there are a lot of Twin Cities guys on FFA and I would be able to pay it forward if any of you guys are interested in one of my white Wolamute pups i.e. available at cost to you haha A Wolamute is a Shepherd/Malamute/Wolf hybrid combo. I have been operating a boarding kennel for 10 years on my hobby farm and this litter of pup's was a one time dealio to keep my guy's canine bloodlines in my family. They are a special dog imo.

My three kids had a 'Game of Thrones' choosing ceremony the other night so I now know which three can be released to new homes. I have not done much marketing up to this point but they are available to leave their mom in early March. You can contact me at Info@winterwindkennels or through the typical FBG channels if you want more information and as I said I will gladly pay it forward to any local FBG's who are interested. (I have been a FBG'er for quite a while but lurking is my specialty and apologies in advance if anyone thinks this thread is a border line spam)

Here are pic's of the pup's and the sire.

What % wolf? What % shepherd and what type of shepherd?

Good looking pups. Potential liability bombs, but good looking pups. How old is the sire? Has he ever bitten a person or another pet? Training for the sire and the dam? Temperament of mother?

If we were in the market for a new dog I'd be setting up a meting now as those pups look great

But 2 dogs is enough right now, and the Beagle would NOT be happy if we brought in another dog

Do you have blood line information going back a while? Do you show these dogs? Do they have health certifications? Hip dysplasia screening, etc?

Those are some cute pups. Sent a photo to the wife to show her what awesome things await us if we leave Long Island.

I don't know if my girl is a Wolamute or not (adopted). But she has been a great dog.

Sadly, since she's almost 13, we're soon approaching "that day". :sadbanana: :kicksrock:

This is the one, if you guys remember, that I had to replace the ACL's in both back legs about 10 years back. It seems so silly now that I ever questioned whether or not it was worth the cost. Of course it was.

I do recall that.. Glad to hear she lasted this long afterwards.

We just had ACL surgery (TPLO) done on one of our Dobermans. It is expensive, but no way we weren't going to do it for her. We are not looking forward to the other leg going, but odds are good it will.

Sorry for the off-topic reply. Those are some awesome looking puppies!
