I'm dumb. I don't see how people can get through the mine field and get 9s. smpelt, basisn, pronve froze.

For me, there was luck involved. I never saw Basis as a solution, as I'm always looking to expose and N if I can. I did see the Froze/Prove choice, but went with Prove on the off chance that Spelt wasn't too obscure of a word for this game. That solved Smelt.

I figured spelt was too obscure so went with spelt. I didn’t even see basis as a possibility (multiple letter use is a big blind spot for me) so went with basin. That eliminated prone as a possibility.

Edit: Didn’t see froze. Guess luck was involved with this one.

Missed right away with PLEAD not seeing PEDAL as a possibility. Finding BRIEF with only an I and E was key. That ruled out JELLY over BELLY. Last word was a toss up between AMPLE and APPLE. Because of regular Wordle I tend to favor words with all unique letters but it seems like this version likes to double up so I went APPLE.

And the luck continues on Rescue. I never saw Jelly as a solution, so went with Belly right out of the gate. That solved the Plead/Pedal choice for me. Came down to Ample vs. Apple. I chose Apple just because of the double letters. Seemed to be a theme today.
