Put up a couple fun World Cup pole questions for the heck of it :)

There's room for two more so let me know if you want me to add something.

For the group question, I selected the 6 teams that were 20/1+ to win their group (hence no Group C or G teams)

UPDATE: Added a poll for which group favorite (based on ELO) is the most likely to crash out in round 1. I have my suspicions already of who will win this pole.

Voted Cameroon - have to beat out Mexico and Croatia - tall order, but not impossible

Portugal - needs CR7 to carry them - much like he did against Sweden to get into the WC. I don't think any nation north of Spain has a chance to win the whole tournament.

Voted Algeria and Colombia.

I think Algeria's group is unproven and a team that's solid defensively can sneak a couple results.

I'd feel better about Colombia if Falcao was available but there's still enough talent there to contend. I may be giving too much weight to home continent advantage but there's decades of historical precedent.

Belgium appears to have the "easiest" rode... at least in the sense that they should win their group.

France is always capable of imploding even if their group seems weak on paper. Their groups in 2002 and 2010 should have been winnable except they weren't.

England usually hangs around just long enough to lose on penalties.

I still have a hard time with Belgium as a legitimate contender.
