Sucks that this keeps happening. He was also the oldest living man ever.
Thoughts and prayers to the family.

"Stay away, kid! I'm going for the record!"Once you hit like, 105 or so, wouldn't you ask one of your great-great grandchildren to do the right thing and hold a pillow over your face?
Geez, really makes you think...
Meh. More people for me to take advantage of.The aging population will create tremendous economic and social problems all over the world. Due to increased longevity and the aging of the baby boomers, the number of cases of Alzheimer's Disease in the USA is expected to grow from 5 million in 2013 to almost 14 million in 2050. Diminished mental capacity is but one cause of dependence in old age.
That's too bad. Loved him in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate FactorySucks that this keeps happening. He was also the oldest living man ever. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
I've seen mummies that were more photogenic.dude looked his age
So people live longer when there are fewer diseases? Profound stuff here. That's what happen when you wipe out diseases. It merely increases the number who die of old age.
Trends tend to die but this one has legs.Sensing a disturbing trend with these world's oldest people.
Methuselah? It was pretty good. He got hit by a car.Sheesh, that would really throw my retirement projections off.
What was the quality of his last 13-16 years?

This hit me like a ton of bricks.JACKSONVILLE, Ore. (AP) — Gary Ross Dahl, the creator of the wildly popular 1970s fad the Pet Rock, has died at age 78 in southern Oregon.
The smooth stones came packed in a cardboard box containing a tongue-in-cheek instruction pamphlet for "care and feeding." Dahl estimated he had sold 1.5 million of them at roughly $4 each by the time the fad fizzled.
Police are questioning 116 year old Gertrude Weaver from Arkansas.Any suspicion of foul play?
I'd put a security detail on the new record holder. It happened again.
RIP
6 days with the record.
Now you have to consider foul play, right? Some centenarian serial killer?
So is birth.Who would even want the title? It's a certain death sentence.
