Voted the Titans for now. The Raiders at least tried to make today's game... well, a game. The Titans have done nothing but suck all day long.

To me, the bottom 5 are almost certainly:

Tennessee

Oakland

Miami

Houston

San Francisco

Hard to say though...

Gotta say it's Oakland right now, but I'm almost tempted to vote for Miami just because of how grossly overrated they were coming into this season.

"If you can't beat Houston, you're the worst team in the NFL".

Somebody just said that on NBC's pregame show.

Titans are a good pick, but I picked Oakland because they just lost at home to another team in the running.

Call me a homer, but the Chiefs outclass every other team on that list, and in some cases by a large margin.

Their loss to Cincy was a tough one, but a lot of unfortunate things happened in that game (and it's week one - by FAR the least indicative of a team's worth), they played a pretty darn good Denver team real tough and destroyed the Niners.

I don't think you need to put all 0- and 1-win teams on the list to increase the options.

The answer is either Tennessee, Miami or Oakland. There's no argument for any other team because those three are just absolute dog####.

I'd say Oakland, then Tennessee. Those two are clearly the worst two teams in the league. Miami is the most disapponting compared to the pre-season "experts."

Gotta be Oakland or Tenn. Gave the nod to Oakland because they are dysfunctional in addition to playing really poor football.

Oakland -- their defense offense is simply atrocious.
fixed, their defense is only bad because it's on the field all the time.
Their defense let the Browns back in the game today when they had no business doing so.
But the Browns do have some skill players, give them enough chances and they'll put some big plays together. You do realize that a 1 point in the game the Raiders were playing against the Brown's 4th and 5th CB's and you have Moss, Porter and Curry on your team don't you? Go directly to get a QB, do not pass go, do not collect $200!

Agreed. I don't think KC belongs on this list.

How do the Lions get only 1 vote?? The only reason they were in this game is because Mike Martz DEMANDED it. This was a huge game for him and he pulled out all the stops all week. buncha rah rah crap...win one for the gipper...you get the idea. this team could easily lose 13 games

:homer: ism abounds.

Tennessee, and while Oakland makes it arguable, IMO Oakland has the talent to get lucky in a game or two, and pull of an upset. Tennessee doesn't have that ability.

How many teams on this list are so bad, you could give them a bye week to prepare for a home game against another team on this list, and they'd still lose? I can only think of one.

Seriously, think about how embarrassingly bad that is. I mean, I guess you could argue that Jordan looked good today, which is nice. And Randy Moss came out of his funk by catching one ball for one TD, which may move him back into the top 75 fantasy WRs, albeit briefly. And I guess you could argue that their coach might suddenly buck his history after failing to win a game against another scrub team with two weeks to prepare, and beat another team when he only has one week to prepare. Or maybe you're holding out hope that they'll be better once Aaron Brooks gets back.

If you're a fan, which of those can you say without hanging your head in shame and talking about next year?

Tennessee is close. I think you have to cut them some slack while they break in Vince Young and maybe LenDale White, since they clearly decided to start Collins over Volek as a stopgap until they could get Young in there. They may end up falling down behind the Raiders when all is said and done, if they don't eventually improve. But at least they have hope.

And Miami is a decent team; they just have an aging defense and not one but two of the most overrated quarterbacks in the NFL. I can see Culpepper playing a mistake free game a lot easier than I can see Oakland putting it all together to win a game.

Close race between Tennessee and Oakland, but I'm going w/ the Raiders.

At least Tennessee has a plan w/ Vince Young and Lendale White - they'll take their lumps and build toward 2008. The Raiders organization just has no clue.

Wow Tennessee gets a big bump up in this week's "Worst Team in the League" poll. Still gotta go with Oakland though - blowing a 21-3 lead at home to a winless team when you are coming off a bye week?!?

Ridiculous.

Interesting..... if this was done before week one, how many people swore it would be the Jets? There were a chitload of people saying that, and they don't even make the poll. They are doin :bag: right now, and I WILL say I told ya so. :homer:

The Chiefs have absolutely no business on this list. They barely lost to Denver, crushed SF, and lost in a small blowout after losing their QB.

You may. I would have said Titans even then, but the Jets would have been #2.
