Would FD Allow This? (1 Viewer)

Last night, there was a 10-person $1065 tourney in NHL. $10k guaranteed.

I was the third entry and thought there might be an overlay opportunity. Later there were 8 or 9 entries so I dropped out.

What's to stop me from entering 3-4 entries and then cancelling all but one at the last minute? Dooshy move for sure but are there safeguards against that? I mulltiple entries were allowed but I'm not 100%.

Not sure how they would police that. I would be more worried about it filling up before I could yank my lineups.

I believe they start locking those contests 10-15 minutes prior to the start to prevent that. With stakes that high though 10-15 minutes likely isnt going to be enough to fill it up again

Pretty sure you can still cancel if it fills up.

On Fanduel I routinely cancelled filled 50/50s if a contest I like better is available. There is a point before the contest, again think its about 15 minutes, that the system will not allow you to. These are $1-$2 contests though

The official policy:

Users may cancel entries by clicking on the ‘cancel entry’ link located at the bottom of your entry on the roster confirmation page. You may cancel your entry for any contest that is unfilled. Within 15 minutes of game start, the cancel entry link will disappear when a contest fills (GPP, League, or 50/50). FanDuel will not accommodate cancellation requests for entries in filled contests within 15 minutes of game start. FanDuel has no obligation to honor cancellation requests that are not received, or which are received after these deadlines, due to technical difficulties or other reasons. Also, FanDuel will not accommodate requests to cancel matched H2H entries.
