It would be a great one but not as good as like Steelers/Cowboys and some of the other super powers of their time. The NFC just doesnt have a super power here lately like NE in the AFC
With the talent on both sides of the ball with both of those teams, if the mid/late 70's Steelers/Cowboys played in this years SB, it would make Favre vs. Brady of this year look like a preseason game between Miami and the Jets...
Uh, right.Bradshaw: 51.9% completions, 212 TD 210 INTStallworth: Three 1000-yard seasonsSwann: No 1000-yard seasonsHarris: 4.1 yards per carryThe modern-day Jets and Dolphins would wipe the floor with any team from the mid/late 70s.
Please....obviously you never watched any of those teams and are probably really young, tell me how many Hall of Fame players are on todays Jets/Dolphins...'nuff said.
I watched all of those teams, and I'm not really young. There are a number of players on today's Jets/Dolphins who, if we sent them back in time, would be Hall of Famers playing against players who are slower and smaller than they are. Every team in the league today would wipe the floor with every team in the league from back then, outweighing them by up to 50 pounds at every line position, with faster players in the secondary and at every skill position. Terry freaking Bradshaw would not get drafted in the 2008 NFL.
