Would the Raiders have a reasonable and realistic shot at the division (1 Viewer)

With a real qb instead of JaMarcus...

Probably not enough to put them over the hump against San Diego, but they could easily be 2nd in the division. They played pretty well at times last year and scored a couple of upsets. With a (much) better QB they could certainly be much more difficult to beat.

They finished 31st in the league in offense and 26th in defense. There is not a single offensive stat where they finished in the top half of the league, and they only finished #7 in pass yardage defense because they were last in the league in pass attempts against. (They were 27th in net yards/attempt against).

They are a long way from competing for anything.

Look what Gradkowski did. McNabb would have made the Raiders a 9-7 team in that division.
