Would you drop 1 of these WRs (N. Agholor/JJ Nelson) for D. Moncrief, PPR? (1 Viewer)

Scoring 1 point for every 10 yards, 6 points TD's, 1 point PPR

Would you drop one of these WR's (N Agholor/JJ Nelson) for Donte Moncrief?

If so, who would you drop.

I would need to bid on Moncrief. He was dropped last week.  We have a 1000 points to spend for season. How much should I bid?

Roster: WR's: Dez Bryant, E. Sanders, M. Crabtree, J. Maclin, JJ Nelson and N. Agholor.

I  would get rid of Agholor and what do you have to lose by taking a flier on a guy who is a TD-maker when Luck is available. Of course, you're banking on Luck being available but, yes, it's a move that I would make and wouldn't really hurt you.

I think those banking on Luck are being pretty foolhardy. If it were Hilton and not Moncreif I could see doing it...but it is Moncreif and Agholor and Nelson have just as much potential week to week as he does-with or without Luck...so why waste waiver $ when you do not get an upgrade?

True but the upside and consistency is there more than Nelson or Agholor and he may not even have to waste that much $ on him to get him off waivers anyway. I mean, no one else is going to be buying him right now I assume.

I could go for a low bid. Maybe around 50 or even lower.  I do think others in my league might go after him.

Dump Agholor, pick up Moncrief. Agholor has shown what he's going to give us and Moncrief hasn't. You're not gonna ever start Agholor over any of those other guys, even if he blows up one week or has a great matchup. He's not rosterable where Moncrief has potential once Luck comes back. I'd rather have him already stashed than try and fight for him on the WW, so I'd grab him now. You can afford him taking up a bench slot. If he doesn't work out, you've lost nothing.

I agree with you. If it was up to you, how much would you bid for him. I have a little over 900 left out of my 1000 points for the year. What percentage would you do?

how much would you bid for him
That's a hard question for me to answer. I don't play in a FA bid league. I tend to play the WW a lot in my leagues so I have no qualms about dumping/adding players constantly. Do you play the WW a lot? Do you usually end the year with a lot of points left in your bank or pretty much at zero? He's worth probably 10-15% of your budget. I don't like any of your receivers all that much so I'd be more apt to gamble I think. But I wouldn't want to over pay either if he didn't improve.

Okay, that's what I figured. I mean, Moncrief probably needs to be on a roster that deep. Did someone just drop him? You may need to pay a little more - 5-12% but I wouldn't break the bank on him considering your other WR depth.

Now they are saying Luck is going to be out until November. Moncreif is best left alone IMHO.
I just saw that. Now I am unsure what to do. Moncrief has a lot of talent. Jacoby Brissett has gotten better and is not afraid to throw it down field. Agholor is the 3rd option. JJ Nelson has a hamstring problem now. I could dump him.
