Obviously there is no way the NFL would intentionally compress free agency into a single week. They want people to get signed so they can be with their teams during offseason OTAs, the players want time to go visit teams and view facilities and give it all some thought.
But that said... this free agency frenzy ranks up there with the NFL draft in excitement, if not surpassing it. There's no chance they would repeat this intentionally, but would you enjoy it if they did it this way every year?
Without the labor strife that preceded it of course.
