Interesting. You lose at C. Lowell is a notorious hot hitter in the first half, not so much in the second. Dye should be better as the year goes along. You get the best pitcher. It's a pretty fair trade. Lincecum looks great. I would NOT pick up Sexson. Surely there's someone better...

Whomever I pick up is not going to be a starter, so I figured Sexson, who's a notoriously slow starter, might provide a big HR bat off the bench the second half of the year. Since we don't get penalized for Ks, he doesn't hurt me except with his average, which you have to figure will rise to the low-mid .200s for the remainder of the season.

I wouldn't do this. Cain is just going to get better this year and Atkins hits behind Helton and Holliday. Young is a stud and Jermaine Dye is old.

I like the trade for you. Haren is having a strong season and should get better as the As always seem to put a run together for the playoffs. Also Suppan is a good SP to sub in off the bench.
